Yesterday I hired one yellow taxi having no.(WB 19C 3705) from Rashbihari crossing around 10:30 P.M. I went to my place salimpur.usally it take 55-60 rupees.But this taxi meter was faulty, even in that meter km meter was running even waiting condition.Eventully it comes 79 rupees.i paid it & informed to the driver that the meter must have some problem.Please take a look in that matter to prevent people from cheating. I have started using Eveready ultima batteries in my TV & AC remote
As this was a premier product against the standard alkaline battery Manufactured by Eveready and costing more than std alkaline battery
I assumed it would perform better & safer for my electronic items
unfortunately as he power started diminishing i noticed that the batteries were also leaking & causing rust & liquid oozing from the +ve pole.

i immediately replaced it before any further damage could be done.

the Battery label boldly mentions leakproof but it does not do what it is claimed to do.

I purchased 6 aa eveready rechargeable batteries last month. Found that none of them were functional. They could not even hold a full charge for a minute. The company definitely is manufacturing faulty batteries and cheating innocent consumers. Repeated complaints on the companys helpline provided no help. Zero customer satisfaction and zero customer service.

I have hsbc credit card from last 4 years. On every year they had reverse the credit card annual fees .This year also i had make a call regarding reversal of annual fees . If they will unable to reverse the amount please cancell the card asperdisscusion . They had told that your annual fees reversed. I did not get any statement after that. Suddenly after 6 months i had received a letter from hsbc that, they have cancelled the credit card & they shown total outstanding is arond 4600/rupees.

I did not make any purchase on that card. Please give suggestion.

I had purchased four red EVEREADY leak proof big batteries for my transistor radio. I did not use the radio much. After few days I casually opened the battery cover and found that all the batteries were leaking and the battery compartment was damaged by the leaking chemicals. I tested the power of the batteries and found that the torch bulb connected to it lit moderately bright. The voltage was more than 1.3 V. I am an assistant professor in Electrical Engineering. I approached the shop with the complaint but he said that once the seal is broken he can not help me. I searched the net and contacted the registered office over phone Number +[protected] on 12 Jun at 3.53 P.M. The person receiving the call directed me to contact the complaint branch on phone number +[protected] on the same day at 3.55 P.M. One person received the phone and asked me to send the defective batteries to their Cuttack office at Plot No.2658, Bhapur, National Highway No.5 Pin: 753011. I told that I would not like to spend more money in postage and they should collect the batteries from me. Then the person asked for my mobile number. I gave my number but till now no one has contacted me.
My complaint is that why such an experienced and large company has not been able to produce a perfect leak proof battery till date? In case of leakage they do not have local centers to replace the battery, even in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. Further, the battery may be replaced but what about the expensive equipment it has permanently damaged ? I was using NIPPO batteries for last several years and those batteries never had the problem. I purchased EVEREADY as NIPPO was out of stock at that moment with the shop.
Batteries are used in expensive appliances costing thousands of rupees and battery manufacturers should produce trouble free batteries or else stop producing the product.

My father Mr.Tushar Kanti Biswas was seriously illed by Heart attack on last prevous year 2007 & he also admited in Hospital, In the month of February 18th, 2008 My father have resigned his service life & submit resignation letter to his office Eveready Industries, they are accepted this application. on the month of 12th may 2008 father filled a pension form send by his office. and last wednes day i.e 4th Feb'2009 pension letter comes to my house from Pension office.Park street, Calutta & their statement arrer counting from from dt.21.11.08, at that time I contact their office, pension office told to me, that pension application of your father was submitted in our office on 21.11.08. so, we were starting a pension from this date.But, my question is we submited pension form on 12.05.2008. on this basis pension calculate from this date, & efected from this date & arrear amount calculated from this date, in this matter I think Eveready Indus. is a liable for this condum delayed.What is the procedure for Legaly take over this matter??????
