Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme [ECHS] Complaints & Reviews

Sir, I am Debashis Guha an Ex Sergent and have applied for ECHS SMART Card vide: 7575377, 7575399, 7575400 for myself and my family on 15 May 2022 which was verified through records on 15 July 2022, but after that no update.Its almost four (4) months. Why this much time required for making a smart card.

This is in regard that ECHS card holder applied for renewal of the card and due to issue in ECHS department of that regiment's HQ they issued a certificate that that certificate will work as an ECHS card till the time she gets renewed card but panel hospitals denied accepting it and even near by ECHS department didn't provide any help. The card holder is in ICU for last 7 days. Who will compensate the financial loss her family has to bear, even today she is in hospital and doctor has said that may be it will continue for 3 months. Why her husband who was an ex service man paid that contribution, why ECHS department thinks that they are doing free service?? urgent help needed

My father Retd JWO RAMRAJ SHEOHARE(77yrs) is admitted in KRISHNA hosp after refrel from 7afh since 19Aug22, presently he is in need of sm injections which is being delayed due to pending approval.pls do the needful.

Sir I want to correct my wife date of birth in my echs card. Please let me know the full process for this

I mr Shamrao Jadhav Member of echs from jun2022 My retirement date 31/12/1983 when I activate my temperery slip in parant polyclinic Echs Sangli Maharashtra OIC of Polycinic advised me to deposit Rs 30000/00 So i deposite thirty thousand
According to rule i think there is no contribution fee for me .so please advise me how I refunde my contribution fee .

In rainbow hospital maximum admission are fake.
During year 2016 to till 95% admission are fake
Patient come in hospital on opd but hospital make maximum opd patients in ipd. And make each pateint bill 70000 to 100000.
In paper pateint admit in hospital in ICU with oxgen but pateint not in hospital.
This hospital do a big fraud with echs pateints and government.
I request plz one time CBI come to this hospital with surprise visit and check all records of this hospital.

Actually my wife should be printed as laxmi but printed as lakshmi because of this there was more problems coming

I JC 153720 Sub(ex) KT Gopinatha Panicker had applied for renewal of my ECHS card vide registration No [protected] on 21Apr 18. On tracking through echs app it is learnt that it has erroneously forwarded to DSC records instead of BEG Records(Roorkee). Subsequently revert request given and the same was approved by the Record office. However, the Renewed ECHS card is not received so far which making lot of hardship while approch for treatment. Kindly do the needful at the earliest and oblige.

Sir, this is the complaint against claim id 21112900. I am a j abraham 247748 f indian air force junior warrant officer. I have submitted my reimbursement claim on 17/01/2022 for rs.7777/- for left hand 4th finger glowmangiomyoma with hypertension underwent tumour excision on 13/12/2021.
Since then i was called saying more information or additional documents required contact polyclinic on 25/5/2022,

all the supporting documents were submitted along with the claim. After verification i have provided. If this requirement could have identified once or twice. Each time travel involves money. I was called 7 times. I am 78 yrs old. Frequent travel affect health. Is it justified calling a senior citizen 7 times for a claim. Even then the claim may not be settled. Kindly solve the problem.

I really wish the concerned departments read this reviews and take necessary steps whoever visited this echs must be served in Defense. I have seen mostly are old age citizens or ex serviceman come for medical facilities which is provided by govt to those who proudly served in Defense forces.The facilities like referral or appointment they gave you more easily and its very systematic .

But the most importantly the worst Doctors here available are so pathetic so arrogant and so rude like they are doing some charity on their expense. They treat you like as if it is their Private hospital and we are asking for free medicines and free treatment from them .

we taught students in school that we have to be humble we have to be respectful to others I don't understand after serving in Army and retired from such a higher post such as Col or major they behave so badly that you sometimes felt disgusted by their behaviour but I suppose they themselves are frustrated by themselves, they applied for this job if they are any better or if they think they are better then why don't they go to private hospitals and practice there instead of sitting here irritated . we want civilians to respect defense personnel but in defense only we cant give respect to each other irrespective of the fact that all are from same background.

I recently met Doctor col Piyush don't remember his full name and he was so rude and so arrogant.i think they themselves need some therapy to calm down and to be humble towards patients .

Sir, claims of medical expenses of AKKAVVA, aged 93yr, wife of late Subedar Somaiah.P is pending. All related documents were submitted in Feb 2022. at ECHS polyclinic, Mysuru, Karnataka. It would be very helpful if we could get the claims at the earliest as we have spent all our savings for treatment. Thank you sir.

Today, I went to (Echs polyclinic Ropar, Punjab) there I saw an army veteran who has fought in the 1965 war for over motherland he was very elderly and he wasn't able to even walk properly still he was issued the appointment slip dur to which he has to stand in echs polyclinic for 3 hours and seeing this type of condition of a war veteran I could not control myself thought of writing this complaint and there are many other elderly people who are above 60 years age but no seperate counter or room is made for them atleast a priority should be given to the our war veteran. So, I request you to please look into this matter and make a separate service counter for the elderly people and the war veterans. I hope so this issue would be taken seriously. Jai Hind.

With reference to the above, the hospital expense for the treatment of Smt.A.V.Thankam, W/O ESM Havildar T.V.Padmanabhan Nambiar was claimed in the month of August -2021. Till date the amount was not sanctioned. So many times I sent mail to "[protected]@nic.in" and "[protected]@echs.gov.in". Even then you were not able to set the issue right after passing One year. I am 82 years old and the treatment was taken one year back. After that so many time I admitted in the hospital and did not claim any amount due to this problems. As a widow of ex-service man I am not getting any privilege as well as it is a big harassment for me also.
So many times they demanded different details regarding the treatment and about the patient. Now also they are demanding some other details.
From all these things we understood that either the staff dealing with these are not aware about the details required for claiming this or simply dragging this.

All the mentioned documents are already submitted to their office three times. Even then they are frequently demanding the same documents. Kindly look into it. Being a responsible officer I hope that your good office will take an immediate action.

ECHS Bhubaneswar Odisha ka Dental department me bahat bura management hai. Ek din me maximum 2-4 patient dekhte hain. Mainly doctor aur staff apna relatives ko bulake pehle dekhte hain jo ki ESM nehi hai. Relative ko office me baithake din bhar bat karte rehte hain. Bar bar tea break lete hain. Aur 12 bajte hi doctor nikal jate hain. Bolte hain kal aao
Please sir koi solution nikalo Nehi to me Prime Minister tak jaunga...

Echs is the worst service given .At hindon air force station Ghaziabad staff is too rude don't even listen to the problem, even if someone is having health problem they don't listen just say go to opd and opd is only 2-3 day in week till that you have to suffer from health issue you are having, if we get ourself treated at outside hospital under panel echs even don't give refferal to hospital even for operation and at their centre don't have opd's doctors at echs are words too much rude and misbehaving.No one is there to command them .So much bad and worst service I will not even give them a single star

I m exm currently living in ranchi . My complaint is that in ecsh namkum, the procedure of getting medicine is very lengthy and timetaking. When we are referred to MH and after getting checked up in MH we have to again go back to ECHS for medicines and there we again have to wait for next 2-3 hrs only to get medicine . My humble request is to please see into this problem

My father Mr Hawa Singh retd army personnel (army no[protected] is seeking with high blood pressure and fever continuously.
He reported ECHS KOSLI REWARI and they refered him to Pushpanjali hosp rewari. When my father went to pushpanjali hosp they offer a deal with my father that he has to pay some extra money from his own pocket to get better treatment unless they will not admit him for treatment.

When my father refused to give them extra money then they did not admit him and even denied for the medicines.

Same thing was happened last year with Yadav Dental hosp Kosli and columbia hosp gurugram.

Now we can clearly say that ECHS is a clear scam with ex servicemen and Govt officials are also involved in this scam because even after so many complaints no action was taken against these frauds.

None can never understand the meaning of a fauji.
My father is so much ziddi that he donot want to get treatment from any paid hosp because he knows his rights.

But i will loss my fathers good health becuase of his well desrved zid and negligencies of govt officials and frauds by panel hospitals

So pl i request you all that i[censored] can do some thing please take a good action against these fraud people.
