Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme [ECHS] Complaints & Reviews

Sir, claims of medical expenses of AKKAVVA, aged 93yr, wife of late Subedar Somaiah.P is pending. All related documents were submitted in Feb 2022. at ECHS polyclinic, Mysuru, Karnataka. It would be very helpful if we could get the claims at the earliest as we have spent all our savings for treatment. Thank you sir.

Today, I went to (Echs polyclinic Ropar, Punjab) there I saw an army veteran who has fought in the 1965 war for over motherland he was very elderly and he wasn't able to even walk properly still he was issued the appointment slip dur to which he has to stand in echs polyclinic for 3 hours and seeing this type of condition of a war veteran I could not control myself thought of writing this complaint and there are many other elderly people who are above 60 years age but no seperate counter or room is made for them atleast a priority should be given to the our war veteran. So, I request you to please look into this matter and make a separate service counter for the elderly people and the war veterans. I hope so this issue would be taken seriously. Jai Hind.

With reference to the above, the hospital expense for the treatment of Smt.A.V.Thankam, W/O ESM Havildar T.V.Padmanabhan Nambiar was claimed in the month of August -2021. Till date the amount was not sanctioned. So many times I sent mail to "[protected]@nic.in" and "[protected]@echs.gov.in". Even then you were not able to set the issue right after passing One year. I am 82 years old and the treatment was taken one year back. After that so many time I admitted in the hospital and did not claim any amount due to this problems. As a widow of ex-service man I am not getting any privilege as well as it is a big harassment for me also.
So many times they demanded different details regarding the treatment and about the patient. Now also they are demanding some other details.
From all these things we understood that either the staff dealing with these are not aware about the details required for claiming this or simply dragging this.

All the mentioned documents are already submitted to their office three times. Even then they are frequently demanding the same documents. Kindly look into it. Being a responsible officer I hope that your good office will take an immediate action.

Echs is the worst service given .At hindon air force station Ghaziabad staff is too rude don't even listen to the problem, even if someone is having health problem they don't listen just say go to opd and opd is only 2-3 day in week till that you have to suffer from health issue you are having, if we get ourself treated at outside hospital under panel echs even don't give refferal to hospital even for operation and at their centre don't have opd's doctors at echs are words too much rude and misbehaving.No one is there to command them .So much bad and worst service I will not even give them a single star

I m exm currently living in ranchi . My complaint is that in ecsh namkum, the procedure of getting medicine is very lengthy and timetaking. When we are referred to MH and after getting checked up in MH we have to again go back to ECHS for medicines and there we again have to wait for next 2-3 hrs only to get medicine . My humble request is to please see into this problem

My father Mr Hawa Singh retd army personnel (army no[protected] is seeking with high blood pressure and fever continuously.
He reported ECHS KOSLI REWARI and they refered him to Pushpanjali hosp rewari. When my father went to pushpanjali hosp they offer a deal with my father that he has to pay some extra money from his own pocket to get better treatment unless they will not admit him for treatment.

When my father refused to give them extra money then they did not admit him and even denied for the medicines.

Same thing was happened last year with Yadav Dental hosp Kosli and columbia hosp gurugram.

Now we can clearly say that ECHS is a clear scam with ex servicemen and Govt officials are also involved in this scam because even after so many complaints no action was taken against these frauds.

None can never understand the meaning of a fauji.
My father is so much ziddi that he donot want to get treatment from any paid hosp because he knows his rights.

But i will loss my fathers good health becuase of his well desrved zid and negligencies of govt officials and frauds by panel hospitals

So pl i request you all that i[censored] can do some thing please take a good action against these fraud people.

Army number 14585865A Ex HAV joseph.k.g.in my 64 KB echs smart card my wife usha joseph(wife) reg no:HY0091333 date of birth is printed wrong I e[protected] .but as per record actual date of birth is[protected] due to this mistake I can not receive medical facility from echs polyclinic as well as echs enpenelled hospitals.my wife needs medical attention due to her medical uterus surgury treatment.therefore l apply Data change request for correction of my actual date of birth i e[protected]spouse Record awaiting obns dob[protected] instead of my wrong date of birth i e [protected] .so I highly requested to you please kindly verify my actual date of birth as early as possible.Thanks.

I am a daughter of Ex serviceman . My father is in pain from last month ...He has a internal headache and heating head, and overall face paining.
Echs doctor shweta sharma echa pune observed and refer to neuro department for next day.
When next day we came early morning 8 am neuro Doctor and HOD of Neuro Col vikram Asturkar ( SR ADV (MED) & NEUROLOGIST ) not helping us. They said neuro OPD day is only Tuesday and Friday but dr shweta sharma not told us to about the OPD days.
My father is in lot of pain and suffering a lot, then why all doctors and HOD of the Neuro one of a responsible person behaving like this...They not helping and cooperating us. Their behavior is very rude and arrogant.
My father was an army person and his 22 years of life to give indian army...For country's protection then why all responsible people in army behaving like this to every army person after they retired why ??

I am suffering severely from Hemmorroids and having severe pain especially at night since 3 days. On attending opd echs doctor referred me to nearby bh surgeon. I am not satisfied with this procedure nor doctor referring me to gastro empenelled doctor, worst system, only my soul know how much pain I m feeling. Let God will decide the fate of these doctors. I am an ex-servicemen and went today to ECHS Polyclinic Chandimandir for my medical treatment because my sugar was increased which is 313. .I took the e-token from the machine for Medical Specialist Dr. Shalini as she is very polite in nature and treats well with the patient., Suddenly a medical attendant came and snatched the e-token slip from me and tore it. I said why did you tear the token slip? She said that there it is not allowed for you, medical specialists only see heart patients.He cut off the doctor's slip of his own free will. I said that I do not want to see them, they do not listen to the patient. She gave me another token and as soon as my number was about to come, the doctor got up and left. I went to the counter again and said that the doctor has gone and give the slip of another doctor. She gave another doctor's Token and as soon as I enter in the doctor's room, Lady Doctor shouted on me deliberately "Bahar Jao Bahar Jao, I am drinking tea now", come later on. After 2 minutes, that lady doctor came out in anger and said that you have punched 4-4 tokens, I said it's not my mistake but now after seeing your behaviour I don't want to do medical checkup from you too.

I went to the OIC Col Sheoran and narrated the whole thing to him and he started scolding me on the contrary. At the same time, the doctor of room number 3, who were of colonel rank, started threatening me and saying Col Sheoran that handover me to the CMP. I left the room and hospital without treatment.

After then I visited Sector 6 Panchkula and got my treatment done with ease ans proper advice.

In my view Condition of ECHS Polyclinic Chandimandir is Worst of the Worst. Doctors always seen sharing Refreshments together in a chamber overseeing the patients and OIC don't care about this. Patients don't get medicines, only General medicines are available their. In the name of Laboratory they have one Lab Assistant, who always found absent or on leave. ESM are forced to go to western command rather then giving them referral for empanelled Hospitals. Doctors are incompetent and often misbehaves with ESMs. If we go to OIC for complaint, he threaten us to be arrested by the CMP. Doctors and staff is enjoying from contribution of the ESMs.

Many court case also have been filed by the ESM. Now after this episode I am also thinking of filing a case against the Doctors and OIC for misbehave. Whenever I get the time from my family responsibilities, I will definitely lead a nationwide campaign for this and will take signatures of ESMs on an Petition.

I have applied for 64 gb ECHS card on 28 March 2021. After completion of 01 year, I have not received my ECHS card. The status of card showing "Dispatched to station Headquarters".
Presently, I am residing in Chennai with my family. I am facing lot of problems in ECHS, Chennai during treatment. I have sent mail to Station HQ, Danapur. But I have not got any reply.
In view of the above, you are requested that kindly look in this matter and do the needful.

Dear Sir,

Once again i am f severely disappointed having visited echs, iqbalpur, kolkata . My card was not handed over to me at counter no 2, citing the following reasons. The clerk told me to bring the following documents since you are from UP you can't be issued your card here . May I know Uttar Pradesh is not in India .

1-Sale deed of house .(I have )
2- Mutation documents (which i don't have )
3-Original discharge book .
4-PPO
5-Downloaded receipt of 64 KB I never got signed .
6-16 KB CARD(attached ) COPY ISSUED at the time of retirement lost and FIR copy .

Despite producing all the documents i was not handed over our 2 echs card officer IC is not available . 7 years I had been without an Echs card despite paying all the dues its pity on the efficiency, performance and capability of its personnel in dealing with ex-servicemen.

Kindly look into it, so that i get cards before ny Mar end in lucknow else die in kolkata .

Staff doesn't bother about their patients and office In charge is busy in his own work .They don't even know how to talk to their patients.They don't even have the information about the medicines. All the doctors in echs ask which med you want to take tell the salt of that medicines.Is this staff ok for echs .

Respect sir..my dad was accidential case and he is ex army man..but this department very dull process and working time to time..so plzz Resoected sir my complaint chargeble in this department.

Observation on self date of birth

My mother is the wife of late exservice man. On 2021 December 27 i went to echs polyclinic pathanamthitta for my mothers referral. My mother is a psychiatric patient. Her doctor advised to see him on 17th December. But my referral validity over. So i gone to get refferal. But Dr T Bhaskar, medical officer, pathanamthitta, didnot give referral by saying my mother didnot go to treatment. But i have all the prescription about my mothers treatment. But the doctor bhaskarn did not seen and avoided as. Please take immediate action aganist this issue.
