Excellent Data Solutions — Company seems to be fake and also demanding for money and threatening users | |||||
Hi myself Madhumita. As my family situation is very bad I was searching for a work from home job in Google in which I got a list of jobs. I've entered my personal details in some of jobs and after sometime i got some replies from it. I got a message from a company named Excellent data solutions which is said to be outsourcing company from Maharashtra. The nature of the job is form filling and we've to fill 1000 forms in 10days for which we get a payout of 15000 out of which 3400 is deducted in the first payment as admin charges. The payout depends on the accuracy and 90% is required for payout, failing which we've to pay the admin charges. I got registered on 13/10/2020 and got the work ID and Password on the same day through mail but I was able to login on next days only it got some error on the same day. They asked me to sign an agreement with my photo in it. I've submitted the photocopy of my aadhar card as a proof. I've started working on the next day and the deadline is about 23/10/2020. I've completed the work in about 8 sleepless days and without taking care of my 3year old child and checked it throughly for 2 days so that there won't be type errors and submitted it on 23/10/2020. Most importantly the work ID and Password is managed by the company and cannot be edited by the user. I'm damn sure that there will not be more than 50 to 60 errors. I got a mail from legal department on 27/10/2020 stating that Payment Intimation from legal department and I was totally shocked and confused. I didn't even got the QC report before getting the mail. I read the mail and it has quoted that I didn't achieve 90% accuracy so that I've to pay admin charges of 3400 immediately without giving any time. Also they gave an mobile number in the mail and it is said to legal advisors mobile. I contacted him further and he replied that " your case is recieved by me and you didn't achieve 90%, so pay immediately right now at 11 30am or else I'll file FIR and Warrant and send it you". I was totally shocked to hear this. I tried to explain him the I've checked the work throughly and there could be no error. But he didn't listen to it. He said don't argue with me, pay immediately and close your case or else I'll make you drag to court and pay 15 to 30 thousand. Even though after reaching him again and again, i couldn't get him on call. Am damn sure that the company has edited my work after my submission. In the report it stated that 783 correct of 1000. I tried to prove them but they didn't consider me. The lady who sent and processed me the job has blocked my number. They planned to cheat me by editing the work after submission. They are threatening me like " If you block our number we'll fetch your location from the IP address on the agreement and proof submitted by me". I didn't even thought to do that. I got a mail again from Legal department on 27/10/2020 stating that Excellent data solutions has filed a case on me under the section 73, 74, 75 of Indian contract act 1872 for contract breach. Why should I've to go so much of frustration even after completing the work properly on time. Also I've lost 10days for sake with this culprits and got health issues and also can't take care of my child. So I kindly request the Respected authority of consumer complaints to solve this issue. Thanks for your valuable inputs. I am also facing same kind of issue from this company. As I lost my job in Covid 19 pandemic situation, I am searching for opportunities to support me financially as I am struggling for it. At that time, I just saw some data entry jobs in quikr and I thought that it is the real job. I got a call from a lady and she asked me whether I am interested in part time data entry jobs. I said yes and she sent me the details of it in whatsapp. Actually, I am busy at that time due to some personal work. She knows well how to market it and pull the people inside to it. Here, I am not complaining about her personally as she has done her job from her end. She said like I have sent documents and asked me to check and confirm within 6 pm today as we have less vacancies. I told her that I am little busy but she still message me and ask me to confirm from my end. I heard some data entry fake jobs company which ask the people to pay some registration fees and then assigning work to them. Most of the people will not go for it as they are not interested to pay for it. Here, they will inform people like they don't need to pay any money before completing of work. After successful completion of work, they will deduct some amount as registration fees and they will pay the remaining amount. They are using this strategy now to attract people. As I said earlier, they didn't give much time for me to think and decide and urged me to submit all documents within couple of hours, so I don't have enough time to think about it. Usually, companies will give atleast 3 days time for employees to accept the offer but here they urged me atmost they can. As I am busy in my personal work, I didn't give full attention to it. After receiving login credentials, I just saw the form and identified that it is difficult to find out the difference between letters o and I. So, I just connect with the person who joined me and informed her that it is difficult to find out the difference between some letters, so I am going to quit this as I am sure that I will not be able to achieve 90% accuracy from my end. She asked me to wait for one day and I asked her why I need to wait for one day and I didn't receive any reply for that. After that only I realized that something is wrong here. Then I read the full messages sent by her and agreement terms and conditions like I want to pay them if there is no 90% accuracy. Based on these two things, I just thought to stop it. But I didn't get any response from them on the next day, however I tried to finish the work from my end whether it is correct or incorrect within the deadline time so that if there is any error, they can correct and submit it to their clients. Also, it is not fair that they will not pay amount for the correct forms even though it is around 890. Also, I agree to the point mentioned by Madhumita, every company will have the option of password change request for the employees after providing credentials for the first time but here we don't have the option of it, so there might be chance that we are not 100% sure that the data which we entered is only available at the time of quality check. My suggestion is that the consumer complaint team wants to look into this kind of fake jobs which will make false belief in the society. If it happens, then the people will not like to trust on any companies that they work for. Advance thanks for your help

just ignore them and block their mobile. they tried twice with other mobile no but just ignore. even if you see their legal notice. it is just copy past and even it didnt have registration no. of advocate.

Similar situation happened to me. They have threatened me a lot I paid 3400 as registration fees.even after paying that amount they were asking me to pay 3000 as cancellation + NOC fees. I dont want to pay amount further. PLease help me . Is there any way to get back my money by complining. Please help me.
