      I have bought the battery on 17th april 2017 and its just a month away when the warranty period of my battery will get expired. The battery got dead on 25th march 2020 and from that day i'm unable to visit any shop to claim the warranty as government has asked for a 21 days lockdown and then i won't be able to claim the warranty. Also these batteries are expensive so it will cost me huge amount of money if i need to start my car with a new battery.
      Please suggest what can be done now

        I have purchased two exide batteries two years ago and they were not giving proper backup so I contacted customer service centre and they sent their service engineer to check the batteries. The service engineer suggested to take batteries to the service centre .After three months I was given replacement batteries which as per the dealer are new. But it is very unfortunate that the batteries didn't get charged and gave backup less than 5 minutes . These so called new batteries are three years old and they seemed to have been picked from some dump yard . They are completely demaged and this is the highest level of cheating. When I contacted the customer care service both through email and calling their response seemed me a sort of mental torture as they had no answer to my queriesMore importantly for lifting these batteries from dealer and taking back to him I had to pay nearly about three thousand rupees. This company is totally fraud and it has crossed every limit to decieve it's customer. It is irony that I have been handed over batteries without checking their working status. I am to register a case in consumer Court against this company.

        Yesterday my inverter got short cicuit.yesterday while inuse of inverter suddnly and automatic just off all the lights and other equipments.then later the inverter shows short circuit .then we will decide to contact customer service but it won't connect then we will decide to complaint it.

          I have raised a complaint through exide care toll free number[protected] and made 5 follow-up calls and till now, no action taken to resolve the issue. Every time the telephone operator used to repeat the same words (Sorry sir, i will put an urgent status, i will raise this issue to the concerned department, our local service engineer will callback you within half an hour etc;) and found no action from their end. I purchased an exide invertor model # gqp 12 v 1050 va & an exide battery model # fem0-imtt2000 12 v 200ah tubular battery 0n 08/11/2019 and i raised a complaint due to the repeated breakdown and unusual noises. The service agent for the invertor attended the issue and checked the invertor on 21st and informed me that the problem is with battery, and requested me close the complaint and raise a fresh complaint against the battery. I did accordingly on 21st (Complaint reference #stn 1043460) faced power shutdown 3 times in my area and my children preparing for the public exam are really getting affected. (The invertor and battery are not meeting my purpose behind my decision to purchase them)
          Also be informed that last 2 days i didn't go anywhere out of my residence by waiting for the visit by service engineer at any moment. i must say after sales service is very poor, especially the follow-up / customer support by exide care and service engineers in vellore area.
          Hope you do the needful to solve this issue at the earliest.

            Dear sir,
            I had purchased the Inverter battery from Dealer in Srinagar kashmir bearing the Sr no. A1L7E418380 IT 200 ( RED COLOUR ) . After two year, it was checked that battery cell becomes weak due to which battery got discharged within an hour. Battery was sent to dealer whose refused to give battery under warranty as document not present .Documents of battery ( bill and battery card ) was misplaced as i had shifted to another place.
            I had purchased the exide battery from so many year, kindly address the complaint on priority basis so that my problem will be address on priority basis

            Kindly replace the battery on priority basis as i am suffering lot .

                This is bring your notice that i am facing major challenges connecting to your service guy at noida location.
                I bought car battery in the month of april ‘19 however within 2-3 months it got discharged and started giving problem.
                1. When i have first complain engineer came and took my battery for recharge.. Gave me after 2-3 days (It’s worked for couple of weeks only)
                2. Second time when i complained they cameand gave another old battery and said it will work.

                3. Now i am facing an issue with battery again (Complain was given to team on 2nd of nov’19). No engineer turned up and tclosing the case. I want to give complain against assigned engineer as well as company for mental harassment for such a long period of time. Everyday i am calling 2/3 times customer care and every time getting answer engineer will connect and issue will be resolve with 24 hours. However actual is total opposite

Can do it, due to which I am facing a lot of problems,

                    Dear sir/ madam,

                    Referred to the captioned subject, i, nagesh dhingra, wish to inform you that i have purchased an exide battery to be used in 4 wheeler i. E hyundai-santro car, in chandigarh, being working there only. The battery cost was rs.3, 400/-, which had been purchased from m/s balaji enterprises vide invoice no. 1021 dated 05.12.2018, which was sold to me with a guarantee period of 24 months. Scanned copy of the invoice along with warranty card, is enclosed herewith for your kind reference.

                    Now, i have been shifted from chandigarh to pune, maharashtra on account of transfer of my services, but it is very painful to bring it to your kind notice that the battery was found dead in one fine morning as on 13.12.2019, when i was giving an electric start to my car. When i approached to one of the exide batteries authorised dealer in pune (M/s barde batteries, hadapsar, pune), it was very shocking for me to know that firstly i have to bring my car to his shop if i want my battery to be checked. If i had to take his person to my place (Which is hardly 2 kms. Away), he was charging an unjustified amount just to give a start to my car and finally bringing the car to his shop, for just checking of the exide battery.

                    After all this non-sense, somehow i managed to bring my car to his shop, i came to know that the exide battery cells are dead. When i asked them about the guarantee period of my battery, they simply denied to exchange the same without any cost. They told me that now i can only purchase a new battery at discounted rate, as i had already crossed the guarantee period. I cannot get a new battery in replacement of the earlier battery, which was purchased as on 05.12.2018 only. Exide batteries' authorised dealer in pune, informed me that i will get a new battery only after when i will get a battery replaced from the exide company, not before that. If i want to get a stand-by battery, they will charge a fees of rs.400/- for these 4-5 days waiting period, and whatever the battery model will be received, i have to accept the same and that too will take a minimum of 5-6 days for replacement. The new battery which they are trying to sold me, it is clearly written that "this battery is having warranty only if installed in three-wheeler (Auto-rickshaw)".in between, your dealer in chandigarh is not even entertaining me at all.

                    Now i want to ask your good self whether exide company dealers are indulged in mis-selling of their batteries to their loyal customers. They are not even ready to entertain their customers with due respect. I inform you that during all these days, my daughter (Infant baby) was not feeling well and i took her and have rushed to the hospital on public means of transport, even though i was having a vehicle, but that is not in running condition due to your un-professional behaviour. If some unfortunate thing could have happened on that day, who would be responsible for the same. The prescription of the doctor can also be shared with you, if required.

                    Sir/ madam, i wish to inform you that we are using only exide batteries in almost 7 vehicles in use at home (Including 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers) and two invertor batteries also of the same brand. I am the only person in my family, who looks after all this maintenance of the vehicles. Now, i ask you when this kind o[censored]nprofessional behaviour will be there with your loyal customers, how a company can maintain the same tempo of their brand in the minds of the loyal customers, in this scenerio of cut-throat competition. Till date, i was a big fan and happiest user of the exide batteries and even i was suggesting my friends and relatives also to go for the same brand, as it was well tried and tested brand. But, when it was all happened with me only, i am very shocked with this bad experience of exide battery company.

                    It was also very shocking for me that i purchased the exide battery as on 05.12.2018, as it is clear from the invoice and the warranty card attached herewith, but, the same was dead exactly within a year and i am not even getting the benefit for these 7 days only, as this fact was known to me as on 13.12.2019. There is no possibility of adjusting even 7 days of guarantee period, even if we are your loyal customers. It is very difficult for a common serviceman to spend rs.3, 000/- to rs.4, 000/- every year just to purchase the new exide battery for their vehicles. It seems totally against principle of justice.

                    Sir/ madam, i would like to request your good self to resolve this matter on priority and kindly get replace my battery at the earliest considering the same found faulty within the guarantee period, as a loyal customer of your exide company, and i also request exide company to replace the same in the maximum tat of 48 hours only. The matter should not be escalated to the next level of applicable forum.

                    I shall be very thankful to you for this act of kindness.

                      M2j8q675080 battery was purchased from bhavanipuram dealer sri kanaka durga, vijayawada, andhara pradesh on 24-12-18. Had problem with the battery and handed over to dealer along with bill nd guarantee card on 7-12-19. On 10-12-19 a person form ur office name mr. Anil cell no.[protected] and informed me that there is a problem in battery and we will replace it with new one. But it takes some time[protected] why because this battery was not available at present.
                      One week to replace bullet battery that to company like exide in capital city of andhara pradesh, really surprising. This whole week i have to put my vehicle a side and have to go by auto to my office. With out 2 wheeler for whole week really pathetic situation.
                      Requesting you to please arrange battery at the earliest.

                          Worst battery for the vehicles i have ever seen when i took my scooty dio it was new and the battery was also new at that time but after 6-7 months battery started loosing it's power and was damaged after that honda company issued me a new battery 3 months ago and now again the same problem is happening...

                            I have purchased 1 (One) exide battery for my bike from dealer and after using 1 year facing lots of problem like its discharge automatically and cannot make self start. I visited to exide service centre named durga motor co on 20.10.2019 and they received the battery charged it and return back after 2 days and said its ok again after a week later same problem arises. I somehow manage to visit their on dt 25.11.2019 and again they submitted the battery and informed that they will again charged it and will return back to me.
                            Sir my bike battery is under warranty dop 22.03.2018 (2 yrs warranty) and its discharging automatically and its a battery issue.
                            I usually use exide battery for my bike and car but didn't face problem like this before
                            Kindly make it replace as soon as possible i am very much disappointed with the service.

                              I purchased exide battery serial number a3i7k007079 on 4/1/2018. The battery does not give backup and needs to be replaced and is under 24 months warranty. Dealer from exide visited and verbally confirmed but refused to give written service report. I am following up on mails / call to service centre since 26/10/2019 but no resolution till now. Only promises made.

                              I want the battery to be replaced immediately.

                                Hello, i raised a complaint about my battery not working under warranty on 12/11/2019.
                                The complaint was registered, but no one showed up, and i got a message that my complaint has been resolved. No one even tried contacting me once.
                                How can there be such a shameful act of not addressing the customer? I was assured by the company that i would be taken care of, while i was purchasing the battery but now what is this?
                                Kindly look into the matter and try resolving my issue.

                                  I have purchased my scooty excide batter on 18/3/2019 from roy auto centre salt lake, kolkata, and its under warenty period, my battery is having some problem and the shopkeeper has my battery from past 4 days and is telling will take more about 5-6 days, and inspite of requesting not giving me a loan battery which i should get.
                                  Yesterday i called in excide service centre about 5-10 times, hald the time there do not receive the call and when receive telling i am conveying to ur dealer to give a loan batter but no proper communication or result.
                                  I had brought the battery in 1400/- and in these few days i think have wil spend more than this amount in my convence…. Please help me

                                    I purchased car Battery model Mileage Red, 55D23L, serial No: A4B7A006975 4B72 on 26/6/2017.
                                    Battery is under warranty 18+18.
                                    I complaint for battery on 24/10/19, registered & promise to attended in 48 hours. No response only 3 SMS on 1/9/19 at 10:49 AM.
                                    1st MESSAGE: "Hi RAJEEV GUPTA, Thank you for contacting Exide Care. We hope your complaint has been resolved. Pls provide us feedback via. SMS which you will receive shortly".
                                    2nd MESSAGE: "If satisfied with the service provided for your recent complaint, give a missed call on [protected], if not, then give a missed call on [protected]"
                                    3rd MESSAGE: after my missed call "While we are sorry to hear that you had poor experience, RAJEEV GUPTA, we thank you for providing feedback which will help us to improve our service"
                                    Again I complaint on - 30.10.19. & 1.11.19. Again it felt on deaf years.
                                    Till date no action has been taken from EXIDE..
                                    I am shocked to such a response from a Exide.
                                    I am spending 1000 to 2000 every day on my taxi expenses.

                                      I m kapil and i have a car honda amaze that i purchased in feb 2019. On 28th oct 2019 my car was not started, so i complained in honda, they checked and told me that battery is discharged, so they jumpstart with another battery and car started. Next day i went to honda workshop they checked the car, there is no power leakage in it. There is some problem in exide battery, so i raised a complaint in exide on 30th oct 2019 complaint no. Is ndel 0661652. Exide technician came and checked the battery and battery was discharged again with in 2 days. I told him to replace it but he refused to do that. So i request exide plz replace this faulty battery. I attached report of battery with this and warranty details also.

                                      I from soni sales dealer code 75795 has been alotted new GST no. w.e.f.10/9/2019.I approached to ASM Raipur for this change so that I can start my billing with new GST no. 3 months have passed but no action has been taken. Due to this I am unable to bill my order.pl.help to update my new GST no. So that i can start billing.
