I had purchased a inverter battery for 18800 a few years back and now the battery has gone dead we have hardly used the battery as there are very minimal power cuts, now the battery has gone dead and the guy from exide says it cannot be repaired, lost all hope on this brand, i had bought 4 batteries at the same time hope the company replaces it or gets it repaired as the battery is kept in a very safe condition
Exide Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
20 No. of Sealed Lead Acid Battery(type EP 65-12V, 65 Ah) was purchased having of 24 months of warranty. The one battery of the 20 No., the voltage dropped to 5 Volts, resulting into non charging o[censored]PS. The rest 19 batteries are showing 12V. Because of one battery the charging o[censored]PS is not happening
The batteries purchased are under warranty.

20 No. of Sealed Lead Acid Battery(type EP 65-12V, 65 Ah) was purchased having of 24 months of warranty. The one battery of the 20 No., the voltage dropped to 5 Volts, resulting into non charging of UPS. The rest 19 batteries are showing 12V. Because of one battery the charging of UPS is not happening
The batteries purchased are under warranty. Authoried dealers are not taking responsible for that.

    I posses a thunder bird 350 bike of royal enfield from last 5 years.

    I got battery replaced on 19 april 2018 from
    J. K. Motors g-9 kaishma complex, nr. Sarni society, 132 feet ring road, bh. Apmc market, vasna tolnaka ahmedabad (Dealer of exide battery)
    Under bill no. A 0594 dated[protected] battery no kil. A2 m2l7 731516.

    Till now in five i have got terminal changed five times, three times with j. K. Motors once with bullet service station and once in normal garage.
    The battery is having problem dissolving of terminal frequenty due to some technical issues.
    The owner of j. K. Motor denied to replace.
    The dealers do not forward my complain to company for his personal issues.

      I had taken a two wheeler battery in september 2016, i have given it for replacement as it under warranty. That time shop keeper said that it will take 8/10 days to be replaced. And now one month is passed but not exchanged the battery. As n when i called the shop keeper he use to say i am expecting the delivery of goods today, so might be possible that you will get it by today itself. Afterwards he said that there is shortage of batteries in company so he gave me the company representative number, mr tushar lokhande he also said that may be end of this month you will get battery but still now i don't have battery.
      The shopkeeper said that battery has been approved for exchanged then why such delay?
      Then i had call to customer care, those guys are more useless than earlier stuff. 4/5 times they disconnected the call saying that they couldn't hear, what rubbish is this?
      I am willing to file a case against all this in consumer court.

        I have luminous solar inverter va -850 model and exide batteries of gel mac 1500. The issue is that batteries is not charging through solar and does not have more than 2 hrs backup time on the minimum auxiliaries on (1light+ 1fan).

        Today your service engineer mr ashok has visited and investigated the issue but he could understand actual problem. And he might assumed that he would be compatibility issue of battery with solar inverter and but not identified and test the battery simply make visit and misbehave with customer.
        Is this is culture of your esteemed organisation???

            I had purchased above inverter battery from m/s vikas auto agencies, jamner on 01/07/2016 vide their bill no.42.
            Battery details as under - s no. Iqh[protected] with 30+6 months warranty.
            Now battery is not taking load from last two months. We had already complaint on 01/08/2018 but we have not received any response from the company.
            Kindly take up the matter and resolve the problem otherwise will take help of consumer court.

              I bought exide inverter battery "im-1000" on 11-9-15 and it been 20 days till it has stopped working.

              Before i was calling toll free number [protected] and trying to get a call back from them, i made calls to this number for regularly 16 days and got no call back and then i called up on[protected] and then i finally had a talk with a representative.

              Basically my battery has a 36 months replacement warranty and even the representative told me that you have proper 36 months replacement warranty if it is mentioned on the battery and yes it it there written on the battery.
              He even told me if there is any such condition apply is written there though the battery will be replaced if it is actually not working.

              But now the local service center is saying that it is in 30+6 months warranty and they are not accepting the call center representative words and saying that they have misguided you.

              Now tell me what should i do, should i sue them in court or should i throw the battery from 3rd floor with the branding exide on it saying the best indian battery company which has a costumer satisfaction rate of just 1%?

              I am feeling very disguised with such a bad service experience with the company representative, with the local service center and yes the dealer "sondhi associates" an extremely rude person but was very polite to me when i was purchasing the battery from him.

              And yes, i have made a big mistake again by buying a car battery from exide like 40 days ago. I wish i would have purchased the battery from some other brand.

              I am from agra, up west. I reside at khadari and i purchased the battery from "sondhi associates", this shop is in transport nagar, agra. The local service center guy name is sajid, number is [protected]. And my name is laksh ramani, contact number is [protected]. Now please resolve the issue or else i will keep on telling everyone to not to buy exide batteries. I have a big big circle so that will surely effect a bit on your sales. That's all for now with much of anger.

              I bought a maruti Suzuki Baleno car on dec 2016 and warranty of exide battery is 2 YRS but today 10 sept 2018 battery totally down and sent for replacement so bad quality battery
              WE HAVE CHECKED THE SAME WITH COMPANY AND THEY SAID ITS BAD QUALITY AND WE WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER BATTERY.

                Hello sir,
                I purchase a Inverter battery of Model EL-8500 Sl .No 3PI[protected] on 12.11.2017. From begining there was a leakage in battery . I complainet so many times regarding this . Company person attained and in service report the same leakage problem mentioned. Every time the service person told same word ' tomorrow our person will come and replace the battery. ' Approximate 10 complaints I registered .But still no action will take by company

                Please take a necessary action so that the battery either replace or repair

                  I have purchased an Exide Mileage Battery, Type - FM10-MI35R, and the serial no. is -A1G4B2483111G45 with 48 Months Warranty from SABA INVERTER & BATTERY WORLD, Medinipur, West Bangal on 09/10/2014 .
                  Recently when I try to start my car in the morning the engine is having a problem to start .After trying for 2 or 3 times it gets started. If the car is driven for few kilometers and is stopped for a while the above said problem does not arise.
                  But the same thing happens again during the next morning.
                  I would be highly obliged if you kindly take necessary steps regarding the above said problem and solve it as soon as possible.

                    Sir,
                    I had booked a complaint (Complaint number njka00027937v543) on 17.8.2018 regarding low back up of exide inverter it500 battery. Service engineer of exide company namly ajaz ahmad (Cell no [protected]) visited my house to check the battery in very unprofessional manner. He told me low backup is due to low gravity of electrolyte, i asked him to check the gravity with hydrometer properly but he dont had hydrometer with him. He told me that he will come tomorrow with hydrometer but he didnt. He asked me for the purchase bill which i provided him innocently with out knowing that he will deceive me. On 25.8.2018 i called the exide toll free number to check the status of complaint but to my surprise they told me that complaint was closed by service engineer. That guy ajaz ahmad, so called service engineer of your company is un0ofessional and fraud, he make fool of innocent customers. I request you that strict action be initiated against that man

                      I have purchased a inverter battery (Exide) from a local dealer (Power zone) in siwan in october 2015 and now from june 2018 battery is not giving back up more than 2 hours on a single fan, battery warranty is 36 month and i have contacted more that 3 times to a local dealer he always took my battery for 3-4 days and give back to me but always the problem is remain same, kindly look into the matter and solve it, otherwise i will go to the consumer court, my advocate is preparing for notice to company, dealer and service center

                        I am working in ministry of defence as senior auditor in farrukhabad. Approx 15 days before i purchased a new tublar battery punjab stores farrukhabad which cost me 13700. Its back up status is very poor it not works upto one hours with two or three fans. It is my humble request to send your engineer to check whether the dealer given new battery or old. It harass me. Please resolve the matter soon otherwise i will go to consumer forum next week.

                          battery backup is less than 20 minutes.

                          I am using battery type fimo-im1500 sl no a3h5c006139 from 21.09.2015. From last two months battery back-up is not good. Now battery back-up is less than 20 minutes. I am facing problems due to it. You are requested to take necessary steps to solve my problem as early as possible. Power cut problem in our locality is vary often. So you are requested to replace may battery....

                          I purchased the exide battery it 500 inva tubular invertor battery sl. No. 10g[protected] through your dealer m/s shree ram enterprises, nallasopara (East) against bill no. 746 dated 26th june, 2015 with the condition of 36 months guarantee and 12 months warranty. Recently the battery was not working in a good condition. I made a complaint. The complaint was made on 28th april, 2018 with ref. No. Wmha00014084v605. (In the grarantee period)
                          I have not received any response against the complaint made, even after repeated reminders

                            We purchased a exide. Battery on 05/09/15 model no-tm500 and serial no -1qg[protected] from add-on services adress-plot no-5, basuaghai, tanka pani road bbsr-751018. Battery's warrenty 36 month from the date of purchase. There is no charge in battery so we called add on services. They told us to call on company's toll free no[protected]. On date 13-06-18 we called and registration a complain on complain registration no 3410. Mr sumendra. Company service engineer (Mobile. No-[protected]) had a visit on date 14-06-18 and verify the battery and he told us the battery is dry now once it will be charged then it will be fine. As.. Per his words we chared.. Our battery in a battery shop. After.. That the battery is fine for four days. Then the problem as same as before. So again we called on toll free no on date 08-07-18 and registered a complain (Complain.. No-3169). Company service engineer came on date 10-07-18 and verify the battery and told us this battery will not work now. So. Buy a new one. We. Told him batterys.. Warrenty is 36 month as per company. And it is in warrenty. He told us company will replace the battery with in 30 months frm the date of purchase. Warrenty will not work now because 30 mnths.. Is gone now. So u should buy a new one and give this battery to xchange so u will get 10 to 15 percnt discount at the time of purchase. On date 28-07-18 we called add on services. And his owner mr ratikant. Gave us a commitment that his men will come by 3 pm and they will replace the battery we waited the whole day but his men did nt came now they are not receiving our phone call

                              I was buy exide battery in 2015 for my chevrolet beat after 3 n half years battery issue occurs i call to battery shop for issue he told me that battery needs to change wherever i regularly service it in every 6 months the main thing is company claims 4 year warranty in which 2 year guarantee at the time of purchase but in my case shop person told me that u must buy new battery we cannot claim for it now this is away from exide promise or shop person promise this is wrong happened with me 2 times my suggestion is go for amron battery good quality batteries

                                I purched this battery from authorised local deler...
                                After 30 months it started giving trouble... As backup is giving only 10mins... After i consulted through toll free no.in mutiple times before warranty period, they just concerned about recording this the issue..
                                While service person visited the house, just put the battery in charge for 24 hrs... And informed that battery will work normally with in few days... But it's not giving backup more than 10 mins, this happens twice within warrenty period...
                                And now they deler saying... Warranty exhaust and can't replace your battery...

                                  I bought a motor cycle 10.05.2017, with exide battery battery type e-t-2-4, and battery no. Is m7d7q403370, this battery is dead last two months, i checked is in service center but he didn't take response and guide me for lodge a complain on line. I complain several times on mobile he says please complain is through email.
                                  So, please check is seriously and take immediate action about this matter.

                                    My exide battery for inverter purchased on 13.03.2016 is found to be giving problem for last 4 months. There is continuously acid lick from battery. I have lodged complain in toll free number[protected]. I was asked to give the model no, sl. No of battery etc. But nobody so far has contacted me how to correct the defect.
                                    It is really painful that such renowned company does no have any regard to customer complain.

                                      this is deepak gupta from hazaribagh jharkhand i have purchased IM 10000 on of the your nearest reseller from hazaribagh
                                      the problem is bettery is not charging since one month as per i have checked our Invertor thorough local electrician and after checked inveror is OK
                                      as per i have register a complain to your customer care on monday 16/17/18
                                      i have got a ref no that is EJHA00026578V652 but still i am waiting from team for the solve the issue i have also a reminder to call to service center by yesterday and your service exucitive Mr Moh alludding has been assuring to me the will be short out and visit the eng by tom means today
                                      but still i am waiting .

                                      this is reduculous service from EXIDE and i never purchased this company bettery in near futer or reference to others frnds to purchased
                                      please solved this issue on urgent basis
