I have purchased SONIC POWER BOX INVERTER BATTERY (PBX1500) ULTRA LOW MAINTENANCE ON 20 APRIL 2009 WITH SU-KAM INVERTER.Its just 11 months, my battery backup reduced to only 4hr. NOW AFTER every 4 hours inverter showing overload then we off the inverter for 5mitns then again start but this is not permanent solloution if if purchased branded battery then why we face any problem. i request you plz send some one to check this and replaced with new one.

I am a reseller, I have sold an Exide battery Model Inva Queen 500+ on 07.04.2009 to Mr. Vibek Sen Sharma Mob.[protected]/[protected]of Kewta, Bandel, Hooghly. He had complained one month ago that the inverter shows low bat. within 10 to 15 munites by using 2 or 3 points. He uses Hyundai 600VA inverter which I have also supplied at the same time . At present cheking inverter by me and company's technician it is shown the inverter indicates low battery within 45 munites if only on 2 points by inverter. I have watched it when inverter indicates low bat. then battery shows only 10 volts. Plz help me at this matter. I hope you will guide me.

    I have purchased EXIDE INVA TUBULAR BATTERY IT 500 ON 0422008.Its just 24 months, my battery backup reduced to only 2hr.I have complained to dealer from where i purchased it but, there is no responce from them.i have tired to call them to solve my problem but they never try to solve my problem, sometimes they disconect my cal, or misbehave.so i have posted my problem here because i think only u people can solve my problem.i want to give the full details of my battery details:-

      Battery Replacement
      I purchased an Exide inverter battery from Unique traders ROORKEE.After 15 days of purchase of the battery it was found that the same was not working properly.It was discharging in half an hour. I called inverter dealer to check the inverter and it was O.K. I then took the battery to Unique traders ROORKEE on 2.10.2009 to check the battery and it was discharged in half an hour in front of me then he said same will be replaced by OEM within 3-4 days. He sent the battery to Balaji Traders Haridwar (Authorised Distributor). I visited frquently to the Unique traders ROORKEE but answer was same i.e. 2-3 days more. I also talk to Balaji Traders Haridwar on 31.10.2009 but he replies that not to talk with me, talk to Unique traders ROORKEE. I also talk to service center Dehradun on 1.11.2009. He said, that battery is O.K. and send the same battery without doing anything Again after 15 days same problem of discharging of battery occurred and dealer send the battery to service center Dehradun again Service center Dehradun has send the same battery on dated 07.03.2010.without replacement of repaired battery.As the warranty of the battery exists Unique traders ROORKEE may be asked to replace the repaired battery with new one.

      Battery Replacement
      I purchased an Exide inverter battery from Madan Auto Service Dabwali Road Sirsa on 07.08.09.phone of Dearler[protected]. dealer give the warranty of 42+6 Months. It was discharging in after 2 hour. I called inverter dealer to check the inverter and he ask the Gravity of Battery is poor.So that kindly loose my complaint and replaced/repair my battery as earlier .

        my vehicle servceing every time in Bajaj Autorised Center and Regulerly service of battery in each vehicle serving record filled on Warranty Card by Bajaj Dealer

          I have purchased Microtech 600 VA invertor along with EXIDE INVARED 500+ battery from NEO Enterprised, Diwan Circle, Vasai ( East ), on 10.08.2008. Battery Sr. No. 1G8 67727, Battery Dealer : Raigad Batter. It works fine for almost 8 months from the date of purchse, but suddently it is observed that the battery backup it reduced considerably and reduced to merely 1.30 Hr.,
          1. The complaint was registered with the dealer for the same on 17.06.08 with No. RB 354, and the battery was sent for servicing / checking at at UPDErasta Engg. Srs, Nerul, which is authorised service station. The Battery was return by them to Raigad Batters after 15 days with the Checked OK remark.
          2. inspite of the claim of the co. that the battery is ok, the backup was hardly for 1.30 Hr, Hence the second complaint for the problem of inadequate backup, was registered on 17.08.2009, as the problem persist under the complaint no. RB 368, at this time battery was again return with the remark CHECKED OK after 15 days.
          3. During the Diwali period there was no power cut in the city, but after that it was observed that the backup has considerably low, as the same problem persists, hence the 3rd complaint was once agained registered under complaint no. RB 406 dt. 07.01.10 with UPADRASTA ENGINEERING SERVICES through Raigad Batteried for the replace of battery and the battery was immediately sent to Raigad Batteries. The battery was returned with the remark LOW GRAVITY.

          4. The new claim for the replacement of the battery is agained registered under Claim NO. RB 427 dt. 22.02.10 for the battery 1G8 67727.

            Hi,




            I purchased a Battery for my bike on June 2009 which has a warranty of 15 months .The problem with the Battery started on Jan 2010 as I am not able to start my bike with the self starter. I took it to the battery showroom where I purchased the battery. They charged the battery and gave it back to me saying its working fine. But that did not resolve my issue. I went again to the battery showroom on Jan 23rd and told them that the trouble it with the battery and they check the signal with their tool and got the red alert that the battery is weak. I asked for a replacement as there is already Warranty but was told that there is no spare battery and I need to wait. They took from me the Original purchase Invoice and the WARRANTY card saying that is required by them. With the hope that I will be getting my replacement battery I gave them the original documents. I used to keep following up with them on daily basis to check if the replacement is ready. They told me that I need not come daily and they will give me a call once they receive the new battery. I didn't receive any calls from them and



            On 30th January I went to them asking on the status on whats happening and it’s been more than a week that my bike is running without a battery. I got a very disappointing response from them that the battery is not ready as the Exide Company is not ready to give the replacement and there is some issue with the name in my invoice. I asked them why I was not contacted at that point and they had no answer to say. They are actually playing games around by finding reasons for not giving me a replacement battery. I asked them to connect the defective battery back to me bike and handover the invoice back to me as that the only document which I have as a proof. It’s been now 2 weeks and they are least concerned in contacting me to get me replacement done.



            I have not faced such harassment and unfair trade practice which is been followed by them. I am also requesting for compensation for the trouble that I had to undergo. When I have a Warranty card and the product went defective it’s the responsibility of the shop keeper to take ownership in getting the replacement done ASAP. It’s just that the owner and employees are playing games and finding it too hard to get me a replacement battery.

              I purchased an EXIDE Matrix DIN50 battery for my car in Bangalore in Feb-2009 and gave it to service on 6-Feb-2010. I was promised delivery of battery after charge on 8-Feb-2010 but since then everytime I call they say that it will take and additional day. I am unable to use my car and have to pay for Taxi everyday. I called today only to be told that I will get a “service battery” tomorrow(as temporary option) and the service person says he doesn’t know when a replacement battery will be available. This kind of service is unacceptable.

              I request you to direct my complaint to the appropriate authorities within the company and ensure faster service to me.

              The service number I have been contacting is +[protected]. My SS Number is 33122 and my name has been wrongly entered as Swaminarayanan which I have advised to be corrected.

              i am harinder singh khosa from moga punjab i purchased a battery from jalandhar on 8 june2010 my battery is dishchared and i go to kissan motors moga and give battery to them they take my bill and warranty card they give me code nu 436 but they did not gave me service battery my battery was discharged again and they said there was no warranty of replace ment they did not talk me like a gentelman my no is [protected]

              Under warranty peride, they not replace new battery ( in this battery not chargeing )

                Sir,
                We are many time to go Hero Honda service center regarding the faulty battery replacement issue, but they are not replace the faulty battery during the warranty. Once again today[protected] we are going to Cross wheels Hero Honda service center in Moradabad (UP). We are saying please replace the battery because warranty period in due on[protected].then he say to me this is not possible to replace the battery. But we are trying to replace the battery.

                Dear Sir please advice what we do if they are not replace the battery during the warranty period, because warranty on battery are expired on[protected].

                  hi i purchase a exide battery from indo batteries 189 bhagirathi apts shivaginagar pune 411005 at a cost of 800 rs sr nu. 2k8.3.960914 at 6/2 09 which is faulty so delear give me a new replace battery i think that which is also come for freereplacement (old one not new) nu is . 2k8.3.960846.this battery is also faulty but ur dealer is refused that and say there is a problem in ur rectifire .so i change my new bike rectifire which is 2 years old and its new one its marker prise is that time is 1000 rs that time and use new but same problem ocuer so ur deler is say tere is problem in uw wiering so we cut that wireing and check it but there is no problem in wiering then he give me a third one new battery no is f.r.2a9.3 162920 now he is working properlly .ur deler give me a faulty batterys at first 2 time which is cme for replacement so i lost my branded newne rectifier and battery so who is responsible for this ur dealer or ur companys police who is pay for my rectifire and new wiering thanking u s.s.ladkat ccto..... consumer forem sadashiv peth branch pune
                  Dear Swapnil Suresh Ladkat.

                  My point of views.

                  First from the Serial No. of Battery Your 1st Battery was Manufactured in Nov. 2008 ( May be Last Week) which you have purchased in First Week of Feb 2009 Thats means 2 Months from manufactured which is quite ok.Its imply Your New Battery was "ACTUALLY NEW".

                  Your Second Battery was also Manufactured In Same Nov.2008. If you got replacement of same in Feb 09 or Mar 09. The Chances that battery was came for replacement is very very very low. It seems that Battery Was also "NEW".

                  Now then again there was some fault left somewhere, the dealer request for a checkup of rectifier or wiring fault was genuine.

                  Here something gone wrong was where the place you checked your rectifier. Who had changed your "MAYBE" properly working rectifier.

                  Now again dealer has changed the battery which was manufactured in JAN 2009.

                  I Think dealer was not trying to cheat you, but trying to find out the root problem.

                    On[protected] I purchased an exide invatubular battery bearing sr. no . 82864 from a shop at Srinagar running under two heads i,e J. K. Stationers / Kashmir Motors M.A. Road Srinagar kashmir. The backup of the battery got reduced to more than 50% before the completion of one year which was under warranty period of 3 years .on approaching the said shop i was giuded to exide service station who declared the battery to be replaced .Any way after lot of efforts & lot of time consuming I managed to replace the baterry by another with sr. no 05947 which did not appear me to be the brand new one & was charged Rs. 400 as charging charges when asked for the warrany card it was not given to me for the replaced battery. sokindly guide me.

                      I had purchased Exide Battery for Two-Wheeler Model Scooty on 23 Jan 2010 from Jagdamba Automobiles, No. 43, Arcot Road, Porur, Chennai 600116, for Rs.865/- . On 24 Jan 2010, before mechanic could fit the new battery, acid has been leaked out completely. Lid has been broken. 7AO is the Manufacture Code and Sr.No 753488. Though I didn't get the receipt, I do have the Warranty Card, as issued by dealer - Jagdamba. When I had went and asked to replace, he just says call me tomorrow. I will check and replace the battery. But nothing has happened for the past 3 days. He still has my battery.

                      Please help me proceeding ahead for the above.

                        Dear Sir,

                        This is to inform you that I've purchased one new exide battery, MFD code 2K82, Serial no. 051578, for my motorcycle(Pulsar, 150 cc) one month before with Rs. 1200/- from Maa Kaali Battery House, Exide dealer at Chanda More, but it does not work properly(self start is not working, head light is not working and horn is also not working), But with other well conditioned battery the before mentioned actions are done beautifully.Dealer is informed about the problem and already one warrenty claim is done, but the battery was returned saying that the battery condition is ok. The problem still exists, dealer is ignoring the problem.

                        Pl help me.

                        I bought Amaron 2 wheeler battery(ATX90) for Rs. 1691. Hope I wasted Rs.250 with the dealer. The real price is around 1400 or 1500.

                          I had purchased an exide battery on 22.06.2007 which went out of order within one year of purchase i.e May 2008. The exide dealer M/s. Quilon Batteries,Prop.:Mr.Beson John, College Junction, Anchal, Kerala (Authorised dealer of Exide Battery) took away the original battery and replaced it with an old one of another brand, and till date they have not given back the original one. This seems very unethical practice of business by the Exide authorised Dealer. I could not contact you earlier because of being a retired person having little access to proper information. Please let me know whether I could get a replacement of the original battery as the same has gone out of order within one year of purchase.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I have purchased exide battery for my Maruti car no Gj-1-R-1773 on[protected] by bill no 21 from REFORM SERVICES from ahmedabad situated at H P petrol pump, nr. Nehru bridge Ashram road, Ahmedabad, 380009. Battery details are as shown below:-
                          EM35R(MF) Exide fully charged battery Serial No- 2A9- 43578.
                          I have complaint that from beginning itself battery is weak and under power. and not working and functioning properly. I had to visit dealer's place every month to get my battery recharge.every time i was complaining dealer that this battery is weak and not working properly.I also shown this battery to other dealers nearby my house on narayannagar road, near petrol pump, and near N I D circle, they also agreed with defect of the battery but regrate to do anything as they were not dealer with whom i purchased my battery. They advice me to complaint my dealer and demand for new battery. My dealer is not agree with their opinion and abusing my car and limited use of my car. My dealer recharges me my battery freely as it is under guaranty period.
                          I am not satisfied with his word and services.As my battery descharges every month from very beginning, battery is underpower and weak and defective also which should be replaced to me immediately.
                          Please look into the matter and do needful as this is very serious matter and prestige issue for company itself.

                          I agree, Why nothing has been done by this forum? and avoided to reply by company if nothing can be done, what is the need of this forum? why company is not warring to reply and serious about consumer complaint!
                          As i believe this forum shows awareness of the customer about the consuming things, and company should be responsible and reliable o it"s warranty and customer!
                          Being a masters in law, I expect that forums like this should at least take care to reply complainant urgently and insist company and dealer to bring solution of the matter urgently.
                          please take the matter as serious, expedite the matter and solve the problem to make this forum more popular

                          Complaint closed 3 times without visit to site

                          I have complained for battery backup issue three times in last 15 days but all the time complaint was closed without site visit. I have exide FE01-Invared500+ Battery. Complaint Numbers are: NUTHO[protected], NUTHO[protected] AND NUTHO[protected].

                            My name is Chetan Suryawanshi S/O-Lt. shri Jagdish Suryawanshi.My father purchased a Exide battery, model No-exide max EM35R and Serial No-314683/4.C.8 at[protected] from Indian Motor Cycle company,10,Ram Nagar,Agra Bombay Road ,DEWAS(M.P.),Dealer code - 4979.the dealer gives 18 month warrenty to us but now i am haridwar(U.K.). Now I have problem in my battery and I submit my battery to exide dealer in haridwar which have Dealer code- 22199,Sahara Trades,131,Near Chandra Aacharya chock,haridwar.
                            I give my battery to this dealer at[protected] in warrenty period and dealer dispatch the battery at Exide Industries Limited,SR-2,Transport nagar,Dehradun,P.N0.[protected],CRN No-UTT/UTT/EX/09/01580.
                            the dealer told,my battery will recived in 7-8 days but now 1 month and 5 days crosses but none responce are come to me from dealer side and he give me another date when i go to his shop.I am very faid and my business is also loss due to this cause.So please help me and take some desirable action to fast.

                              Defective invertor battery

                              I BOUGHT A BATTERY FROM KAKKAR OIL AND BATTERY IN FARIDABAD ON JUNE 2009 .I BOUGHT BATTERY FOR MY ESTEEM CAR .THE DEALER GAVE ME EXIDE MAX EM32 R AND AFTER FIVE MONTHS THE BATTERY SHOWS SOME TROUBLE AFTER CHECKING THE DEALER HE SAID THE BATTERY IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR THIS CAR YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY A 35 AH BATTERY AND HE IS NOT REPLACING THE BATTERY HE SAID I CANN'T DO ANYTHING IN THIS CASE THE BATTERY IS O.K BUT NOT SUFFICIENT . SO NOW YOU TELL ME WHAT SHOULD I DO I DONOT KNOW ABOUT THE BATTERY AH . THE DEALER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS HE GIVE ME THAT BATTERY AFTER KNOWING MY CAR MODEL

                              Exide Battery — refusal of the dealer

                              Hi,

                              I have purchased a Exide battery for my scooty on 18-Jan 2008 from New Vikrant Battery, BG-6/ 280 B, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. The battery has spoiled the scooty's altinator & is not working. when I went to the shopkeeper he refused to exchange or repair, He is also saying me to go to the court.

                              I request the related company to take any action.

                              I purchased a Batery from Sambalpur on 08/12/2008 for my Indica DLX. The warenty period is given for 18 months. Yesterday I found that Batery is not working. Hence I visited Exide center, Jaydev Vidhar, BBSR and show them the same. He said that the batery is damaged. When we show the warenty card he ignored and said that contact the customer care. We contacted and they said that collect the complain form from Sambalpur. Is it the way that I have to go to sambalpur to collect the complain form, which is 5oo kilometer away from BBSR. Soon after that I talked to Exide Service Station, Plot no - 169, Sector-A, Zone-A, Mancheswar Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar - 751010

                                A protracted case no. 16/09 of May, 2009 at consumer court, silchar still pendant due to incomplete bench. National consumer forum's toll free number cannot be connected inspite of several calls. Please investigate and advise.

                                I PURCHASED CAR ON 08/10/2009. THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN THE BATTERY AFTER 10 MONTHS FROM THE PURCHASING. I ASKED THE DEALER BUT NOBODY BOTHERED ABOUT IT.
                                AFTER 1 YEAR AND 1 MONTH THE BATTERY FAILED TO START MY CAR. NOW THEY SAID THAT IT IS OUT OF WARRANTY.
                                BY THIS I THINK YOUR REPUTED COMPANY IS LOSING ITS GOODWILL.
                                NOW I WILL NEVER BELIEVE ON THE NAME 'EXIDE'. I WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE SOME OTHER BATTERY BECAUSE I DON'T AFFORD BLACK MONEY TO SPEND ON THE CAR BATTERIES ONLY. INSPITE OF SEVERAL TELEPHONIC CONTACT, THE DEALER IS GIVING ASSURANCE FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE BATTERY. ONE MONTH HAS ALREADY BEEN PASSED, BUT TILL DATE THE BATTERY HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED CAUSING MENTAL TENSION AND LOOSING FAITH ON EXIDE IDUSTRIES LTD.

                                  My name is rajesh singh my invertor battery ExideIN1500 is damaged I bought this battery in january 2009 from dealer Kanodia sales ,satna. ( M.P.). dealer has collected damaged battery which is in gurantee period. 2weeks back for replacement but till date he has not provided the battery on asking he is replying that he has no new battery in the shop for giving you.so please look into the matter for justice.

                                    i had brought the Pulsur 150cc on 21/05/09. and then i got the warranty for the battery 1 year.my battery developed some problem at 7th month and i showed it to Bajaj Show room.& Service Centre they Give me a letter and told me to go to Exide battery service Centre to claim warranty and replace the battery,When i had go to Exide Service Centre on 16th Dec-2009. they give me the time only for next days. and Today on dated 30.12.2009 i had go again to Exide Service Centre They Exide guys told me u did't got any warranty without any Fees they Told me i have no any Battary of these Model But i[censored] give me 200 Rs. then i'll give u the battary... When i said no My battary is under warranty Please chenge it Free of Cost then they Behave very very Ugly with me....
                                    so later i came to know that Bajaj Service Centre at Varuna Bridge they had not give me any responce so i have to complain for these matter to U.

                                      Hi my name is Sushil Kumar Patodia... and I have bought a Exide Battery IN1350 Plus from the Authorised Dealer " Autorola - The Exide Shoppe " this is a shop address..#16, 10th main, jeevan bhima nagar, H.A.L. 3rd Stage, Bangalore - 560 075. I have purchased on 21th April 2009. Since day 1 I am facing problem in the battery and whenever I have complained to the dealer he sent the person.. his person came home checked the battery and go back by saying that everything its ok.. later when I have complaiend numbers of time then dealer has sent a genuine person who know how to check the battery so he finds that there is a problem in a battery so he gave me a stand by and took the original battery with him on 17th Nov 2009. He said will get the replacement in a week itself but as on date I have not received my original battery.. whenever I go to the dealer he says I am following up with company.. thats it. I want to higher authority to take an appropiate action against these kind of dealer who cheat's innocent people like us.
