Exide Industries — replacement battery not given by dealer | |||
I have received sms from vk-eilwms on 8th february 2018 to collect my relacement battery under claim no ar-mum7995131/srno.3d7g027396 after 5 days of the receipt of sms. It is regretting to state that the dealer has till date not given the battery for the reason that there is a shortage of battery and the battery has not been received from the company till date. I have been regularly following up with him. But the answer remains the same since last 20 days. Is there any responsible person from your side, who would assist me in this matter. The tollfree number for consumer complaints is also not working. Is the company out of business?? Was this information helpful? | |||

My name is Anjan Chatterjee. I have bought a Honda X-Blade on 21st of October 2018 under my wife's name i.e. Yashika Vijay from Prensons Honda, Ranchi. The battery got dead during the lockdown. The battery covers 18 months of guarantee which ended in April 2020. However, due to complete lockdown I couldn't claim the guarantee since, the Service Center was closed. Now, the Service Center has resumed work so, I have claimed the guarantee and the claim ref id is RAN14290428 SrNo M7I8O595471. I have got a message on 20th of June 2020 which states the guarantee has been void. I would request Exide to please consider the guarantee since, the guarantee got void during complete lockdown and that's why I could not claim it on time.

My issue is resolved. Battery has been replaced by Exide Industries. :-)
