Expat Properties — expat vida taloja project - apartment non delivery

I have invested Rs 20, 40, 000/-, on 07 Aug 2014, for a 2 BHK Apartment at the Vida Building at “The Wisdom Tree Community - Taloja” of The Expat Group. Subsequently, I was sent a number of emails by the Expat group stating that there were delays etc. and making promises of flat allotment. But nothing was done.

Like me, I find that there are hundreds of NRI investors, spread around the world, who have been thus victimised by THE EXPAT GROUP.

My booking ID is B1402096 and customer ID C1321595 and I have a Letter of Intent dated Aug 05, 2014, in the project VIDA BUILDING situated at Taloja, Ambernath, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Though I have already paid the total consideration amount for the said apartment, no agreement for sale has been executed till date. As per the MAHARERA website, the construction is being done by EVALIA PROJECTS & DEVELOPMENT PRIVATE LTD. One Building “B” has got RERA approval but nothing has proceeded further. I have visited the building site at Usatane village near the Lodha Palava project and seen that there is some foundation work standing for the last two years with no progress on the building.

My last visit to the site was on 03 Jan 2020 and please see attached photographs.

I would also like to say that I am not interested in Expat Groups Facebook page which seems to be the strategy that Expat is using to close complaints. I want this issue to be resolved here on this site. And the only resolution is a full refund with interest.

By the way this project was supposed to be delivered in 2017. It is now 2020. So I don't think I am asking for too much to ask for my money bak after 6 years of paying it.
