Expedia — not refunding my money despite hotel refunding the amount | |||
My booking id is[protected]. I am extremely disappointed with expedia customer care. I had a booking in helsinki in hotel indigo from 14-15 march. Due to corona virus i was suggested not to travel and was calling and speaking with expedia customer service every day since last 2-3 days regarding cancellation and refund of my booking. Expedia initially said that if hotel cancels it free of cost, they would refund the money. I then spoke to the hotel and they said that they have updated the cancellation policy and cancelling the reservations without any penalty. I tried to make the customer care of expedia understand this but they refused. I have all the mails from the hotel which say that they have already infromed expedia about the cancellation and i should contact expedia for waiving the cancellation fee. Since, hotel agreed to refund and expedia is not agreeing, this is sheer cheating from your end. Was this information helpful? | |||
