Ferrero Rocher — Third - Rate quality Management

I bought a box of Ferrero Rocher (300 grams, 24 pieces) from Amazon recently and I handed it over to my 6 year old kid without inspecting the chocolates properly. My kid ate a couple of chocolates, and my wife, a bit later, noticed a strange thing in your chocolates. Upon inspecting closely, I noticed these very peculiar whitish grey spots on the outer layer. I believe it is some type of mould. I am freaking out now as my kid had been consuming it intermittently until we saw it. The product's expiry is in 2022. What kind of quality management is this? What if something happens to my kid?
