[Resolved]  Flipkart — 1 month delayed delivery and further delay in installation of ordered tv.

1. I had booked 2 * vu 43"led tv (Order id od[protected].) on 24th of september on flipkart. I was promised the delivery 3rd october.
On 3rd i received email stating delay in delivery by 3 days. Again i received email on 7th october stating daley in delivery by and it will done on 11th october.

2. On 11/12th october i called flipkart customer care to check about the delivery, the customer care executive says that he can't track the order and he is raising the issue and it will be solved in 48hrs.

3 after 48 hrs flipkart says they can't deliver the product due to some difficulty so cancel the order. I ask them to give me this in writing as it's their fault for so much delay and cancellation. Flipkart refused to do so and continued to say that they are not aware about the product status.

4. On 21st october i recieved email stating"your order for 2* vu 109 cm led tv has been cancelled"
I had not cancelled the order. It was cancelled by flipkart itself. When i called to confirm they say yes sir we have received your return request where in i had not given any such request. Yet i was fine with is that ok i will atleast get my refund.

5. On 24th october i recieved 1 tv. Inspite on cancellation by flipkart itself i recieved 1 tv. I called flipkart they are blissfully denying saying not possible as we have cancelled the order. After i tell them they check update the system and send me the invoice.

6. I recieved invoice on 25th and as promised in that i called flipkart again for the installation of tv. The promised timeline for installation of tv is within 72 hrs of delivery of product. After even 4 days no communication from flipkart.

7. After calling flipkart i kept on getting false promises and textbook answers but no solution or no installation.
Even backend team promised me installation by 3rd november. But today is 4th and i have received no communication from flipkart in this regard.

8. Tvs which were ordered on 24th september.
Delivery promised on 3rd october.
Twice delayed by 3 days.
Flipkart askes me to cancel the order.
Without my permission they cancel it in 21st.
Yet i receive 1 tv on 24.
That is exactly a month delayed from date of order.
And inspite calling them every single day till date no installation has taken place.

9. I am being mentally harrassed by making false promises and textbook answers. Only issues have been raised no solution yet given. For delivery of tv we were not able to move out the house fearing someone will come delivery and we won't be home... Now same thing about installation.. It's like being in house arrest.

10. Utter unprofessionalism and pathetic service by flipkart have been mentally harrasing me since 3rd october. It's 4th november today and still the issue is not resolved. We have paid for dth connection last month we are paying unnecessary as connection s installed but tv which was delivered after 1 month of delay is still lying in packed box as no one has come for installation yet.

My humble request to you to look into the matter at urgent. I am mentally harrassed and tired of all this charades and false promises by flipkart.

As per your commitment TV was supposed to be installed within 3 days of delivery. Inspite of calling everyday all I am getting is "You will get update in 24 hrs"... No resolution given nor the TV installation done.

After raising a complaint again and again latest Deadline (it's funny you call it deadline as it never meets a the end) given was 7th November and still I am getting same answers from Flipkart.

It's not only a mental harassment but it's a financial loss to me as I have already paid not only for TV but also for the DTH connection which is lying unused.

We are not even able to go out of house for longer duration fearing someone would be coming for installation. It's like a house arrest for us.

I am fed up of this nonsense. Suggest me what should I do should I go for "LEGEL ACTION"?

We have interacted with customer, customer told issue has been solved as product delivered and Installation done. Customer also looking for compensation as Installation delayed so informed customer we don't have such provision however feedback noted.Hence, closing form our end.
