[Resolved]  Flipkart — Asks for Id proof for return of product

I ordered Sparx shoes from Flipkart on 21 October 2021. As I received a different product delivered on 25 October 2021, I raised a complaint regarding them. Now for the return of the product, they want me to share pictures of my Adhaar card for so-called verification. I do not understand what kind of verification they are referring to? If I had ordered the product, it is me who is returning it. What for the verification is needed. Also, if it is needed, I can show it to the delivery personnel. Why do I need to share my whole ID proof with Flipkart? Is it right to capture the personal details of customers?
