[Resolved] Flipkart — ASUS ZENFONE 5 - A501CG (8GB) - WRONG INFORMATION PROVIDED IN THE MOBILE SPECIFICATION LIST | |||
Last week I had placed an ordered for Asus Zenfone 5 - A501CG (8GB) handset via Flipkart. During specification checking of Asus Zenfone 5 (8GB), I came to know it is providing the latest OS - Android version i.e kitkat 4.4, moreover I had a talk with Flipkart customer care executive atleast thrice to re-confirm the said issue, and every times the answers were same "Sir you are getting the latest android version kitkat 4.4". I had chosen that product (8GB), leaving Asus Zenfone 5 (16GB) as Zenfone (16GB) is providing 4.3 Jellybean with 1.6 GHz processor however it has also mentioned it is upgradeable to kitkat 4.4 and in case of Zenfone 5 (8GB) nothing was mentioned over there hence I had misguided a lot to choose the product. Flipkart is a wellknown, renowned and trusted organisation in terms of online purchasing however I really had a worst customer service experience with it. Why did the executives provide me the false information without checking the ASUS official web page, I believe its nothing but a trick to convince the customers by show casing the extraordinary features of the product which actually does not have. Even I call ASUS customer care, they suggested somehow Flipkart has modified the product information by their own sweet style, which is absolutely a breach of policy. I want the proper investigation on that, if necessary change the product features & specification with immediate effect and the information should be valid and authentic. I can better understand the distinguish between 8GB (1.2 GHz) (Kitkat 4.4) (INR 7999/-) & 16GB (1.6 Ghz) (Jellybean 4.3) (9999/-), in that case the lower value handset is not supposed to provide the latest android version in comparison to higher one in which I have been trapped. I hope, I can able to elaborate my areas of concern. Now I am seeking a prompt and justified reply from Flipkart at its earliest convenience. Till the time I won't get any response, I will keep on sending escalations. I will expect, my matter should be dealt with priority. Was this information helpful? | |||
