[Resolved] Flipkart — asus zenfone max pro m1 6gb variant | |||
Dear sir/madam, On 15th october 2018 the asus zenfone max pro m1 6gb variant was delivered to me or it can be now also said as one of the worst day and black day in my life. I was facing the issue of disturbances in fm radio signals since day one and to confirm it i checked in every possible location and waited for 5 days before requesting a replacement for it. Now the whole drama started and it goes like As follows: 1) surprisingly first technician visit was scheduled after raising a request for replacement on 20th october 2018. The technician visited on 21st october 2018 on sunday. After some tries he was not able to resolve the issues and he asked me to install a third party app and to use it instead of app which is by default installed in phone. I was not convinced with solution provided and to make it clear i had again requested for replacement. 2) the second technician visit was scheduled and this time it was done by mr. India as i was not able to see who has visited my home and when did he performed troubleshooting on my device as claimed by the flipkart and my replacement request was again rejected with some fake report. 3) now it was nearly an end of 10 days return policy and i again thought to give last try as per my trust on flipkart. Third time after raising a replacement request, on 27th october 2018 a technician visit was completed. Technician performed troubleshooting in front of me and prepared a report too stating that there are disturbances in fm radio signals and there are no notifications sound as well for incoming calls, messages, etc. 4) the replacement was rejected this time as well and after several calls and so much inconvenience the result was same. But once again after calling on[protected], as per me it was 70th or 80th call i was having with flipkart and the last resolution was given by them was to visit asus service centre and get a job sheet from them stating rhe issues i have been complaining for since so many days. 5) as per asus service centre they have given me a report stating that after comparing my device with another device of same model the perfomance was same of both device and there was disturbances in fm radio signals in both devices but there was not any hardware problem. As per my conclusion it implies that there has been a manufacturing defect in the device and now i don't want to continue with this product. 5) after the report of asus service centre and my mail to flipkart with the report. The flipkart executive after having conversation for about half an hour on phone says that even if you receive a replacement, the issue will continue and we cannot accept your replacement request. And as a advice he said if you keep this call continued still its of no use and our decision is final, so its better you do what you like. We are closing your request finally from our end and henceforth your any kind of request will not be entertained in this regard. This is what happened to a consumer instead of replacement even after accepting the issues in the device the flipkart is not ready to take any responsibility and just making fool of me with calls and messages.in addition to it they all are wasting my time too in technician and service centre visits. I am requesting a refund instead of replacement. As already more than 25 days have passed i am facing this issue and flipkart had completed its third sale since 10th october 2018. I am not convinced with performance of the product. The report of asus service centre clearly states that the issue is in all devices of same model and they are not authorised to check performance of device with another model of another brand. As a buyer i expect the device performs well in all respect and being flipkart assured i am much assured about the same. I don't find any logic in further getting a replacement for the same device as the issue related to performance will continue again and again and i have to go through such inconvenience again for the device that i will be getting in replacement. My last option would be to make use of my consumer rights and ask consumer court for help in this regard. I have attached report of asus service centre with this mail for your reference.
