I recently placed an order for Carrier 2.0 Ton 3 Star inverter AC (Model Ester Neo) from flipkart. Order was placed on 26th May 2019 under flipkart. The AC was delivered at my address (c/o Rita Sachan – [protected], 116, Keshav Nagar Sitapur Road Lucknow Opp. Godavari Enclave Lucknow – 226021) on 31st May 2019. Since there was a brand installation offer for installation at 499/- through Flipkart the installation request was placed by flipkart through Carrier Midea Ltd. Sr. No.[protected] since this was taking time I also placed a request for installation through Carrier Midea from my side Sr.No.[protected] as I was informed from flipkart that I can do a standard installation and get a refund from flipkart under the order through authorised company. Regarding the same the installation was carried on 3rd June 2019 through company under the Sr. No.[protected].
However when the installation was complete during testing by the service engineer it was found that the Ac was faulty and was shutting itself down after 5-10 minutes displaying error code P6. The cooling of the unit was also low. The Installation engineer tried rectifying the same but was unable to do so and asked me to register for a service visit through Carrier Midea. For this I contacted flipkart and also from my end raised a request with Carrier Midea Ltd. With Sr No.[protected]Also informed this number to flipkart), the service engineer paid a visit on 7th June 2019 for the same and while testing the Ac was functioning albeit a bit less cooling, but as soon as the service engineer left the Ac again started shutting down automatically after running for 15-20 minutes with an error code P6 displayed on the panel. My mother this time called the engineer on Saturday (the one who visited on 7th June 2019) and was informed that the engineer will again visit on 10th June 2019. Meanwhile I also raised a request from my side on Carrier Midea support and was given a Sr no.[protected] and also informed the flipkart support. After all this today i.e. on 10th June 2019 the service engineer visited in the morning and diagnosed that the outdoor PCB is at fault and he replaced with a new one which he was carrying from Carrier Midea, however even after replacing the Outdoor PCB the Ac was still having the same issue (i.e. Shutting itself off after 15 minutes of operation with P6 error). The engineer communicated to me that the unit is faulty and needs to be replaced as this is a manufacturing defect.
Now I contacted flipkart and carrier both about the same issue and was informed that the dealer is supposed to replace my defective product. i.e Flipkart. However the flipkart team told me that there needs to be a communication in this regards from Carrier Midea limited. Now I don’t know where I was at fault in all of this, and in this peak summer weather I am left with an AC which is not functioning, for which I paid all the amount including installation fee. It is thereby requested to both Carrier Midea and Flipkart to replace the defective product at my premises ASAP as already it has been more than 14 days since I have purchased the product. Getting a faulty product delivered to me is by no means a fault of mine for which I am being unnecessarily punished with continuous follow-ups.
Please requesting both Flipkart and Carrier Midea to follow this up and replace the faulty Ac with a working model. Thanking you in anticipation.
