Flipkart — charged for 2 items but received only 1 item. | |||
Main issue: Ordered for 2 lehengas from the seller - safina collection through flipkart. Received a single packet on 27th nov, which had a bill stuck on it stating that there should be 2 lehengas in it. There was only one. There seemed to be no tampering with the packet and i asked for refund. This has been pending and i am repeatedly getting messages, stating that "we'd like to let you know that your recent order has been cancelled as our systems have detected an unusually high number of returns in your purchase history. This would also mean that you will no longer be able to login to your flipkart account." This missing piece is the second incident with the same seller. Earlier also, i had ordered 2 lehengas of the same size but received only one. There seemed to be no tampering with the packet and considering, it was plain human error, asked for refund of the missing one piece. This was duly issued. I have faced this issue of a single missing piece about 4 times with flipkart in the last 2-3 years and had initially not given much attention to it but after 2 consecutive incidents with the same seller, i raised a complaint against the seller but there has been no answer to that as well. Attempts at contacting flipkart: 1) i have tried contacting customer care through phone multiple times but as my account is blocked, they have washed their hands off and asked me to contact through email. 2) the email conversation gets me the standard reply mentioned beforehand. Also, the issue is always shown as resolved even though there isnt really any resolution. 3) finally, i got the email address - [protected]@flipkart.com, from the customer care manager for escalation of issue but the delivery fails saying that the mail address cant be found. On calling the customer care again, i was told that this is the email address and there must be some problem with my email account, which seems absurd. 4) i also found the seller's phone number through other portals and contacted him. He said the fault is not at his side which may or may not be believed but the end issue is that twice i got only 1 product, when i had paid for 2, from the same seller, and through flipkart. Interestingly, even if my account is blocked, i am able to place orders and return the other items that i had previously ordered. The only place where i am facing issue with the blocked account is the refund of this missing piece. The details of the order are: Order id: od[protected] Price of one lehenga : rs. 539 Secondary issues: i also had missing pieces with an order placed to click corporation (Seller) through flipkart.in this case, i was earlier not given an option for refund and was offered replacement which i was not okay with. I had ordered blankets for gifting purposes during diwali time and another shipment would have reached me only after diwali. I was told that they will send it before diwali and i agreed. Finally, the shipment couldnt be delivered and i was told that i will have to return the other pieces if i had to get a refund. I returned the other pieces and got the refund for the same. The refund for the missing pieces was a long-drawn affair but it did finally come. Also, some of the other pieces delivered by this seller didnt match the description mentioned on the site and for this as well i had raised a complaint with flipkart but there has been no response on this also.
