Flipkart — Complain against seller and customer service of Flipkart against Puma shoes

I had purchased a Puma pair of shoes during Diwali sale which while purchasing had all the three options of return, replacement or exchange.

This product got delivered to me but it had manufacturing defect. Hence I wanted to "Get It Replaced" with the similar product which was Although the same size and make was Available on the app but at the increased price, it was giving me the option of return only. Hence to be on the safer side since No Other Option was there, I picked up the option of return on 27 November, 2023

But because I liked the product and it was the seller who was not giving me the option for exchange, I made a complaint in the customer care on 28 November narrating the entire story. They told me that they will first have to cancel my request for return and then put a complaint. Timeline they gave me was 3-5 working days. I kept waiting for the resolution but the entire week passed by but neither did I get any call or update from Flipkart.

Again called customer care o 8 December, they apologized for the same and said that they will forward the case to the concerned team. Anyhows after a week's time again no response of my complain. On calling back to customer care again on 16 December I came to know that the customer care was taking my complain as feedback and kept me in dark every time that action will be taken against my complain. I got very disappointed with your customer care executives, atlast i asked them to get the refund done for my manufacturing defect product which also they refused to do that the return period is over and they can't do it. I said that on 28 November when I first had given my complain in customer care, that executive said that she can take my complain but for that she will have to cancel my refund request and then check for action.Then i confirmed with her that after this cancellation request I will not be able to put this request because the refund/ return period of 10 days will be over in my account for this product. She said that ma'am don't worry you will not be able to do it but we will forward the request for the same. Finally after assurance I agreed for it but now your customer care is also denying for the same.

So I had to excalate this matter to you people and want you to take action against your customer care people who are fooling around with the customers and giving false commitment and giving timeframe to wait for 3-5 working days and simply KILLING TIME of the customer.

Secondly take action against your seller who give all the options while purchasing the product but thereafter even if the same size and make product is available, they don't give the replacement option for the customer simply because by that time the cost of the product has again gone up.
