Complaint against damaged product delivered by Flipkart
I purchased a whirlpool three door 330 litre refrigerator through flipkart platform on[protected], and invoiced on 08.09.2023 and shipped for flipkart by Bathla Teletech Pvt Ltd, Ship-from Address: Survey Nos. 386/2B(part), 386/2A, 381/3A2, 381/3A1, 381/2B, 387/1A, 387/1B, 387/1C, 381/3B, 387/1D, 387/1E, 382/1C, 382/1B, 387/2, 387/1F, 382/2B, 382/1D, 383/2A, 390/2, 390/1C, 383/2B, 391/1, Selakarichal village Sulur Taluk and Appanaickenpatti Village, Paladam Taluk, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu - 641016, Coimbatore, TAMIL NADU, India - 641016, IN-TN and delivered on 09.06.2023. After delivery, the whirlpool installation assistant installed the refrigerator, on 10.06.2023 evening and give suggestions for using refrigerator.
After using my refrigerator for a couple of week, Sunday our servant, who cleaning my floor space observed water under the fridge that intimate me and my wife, then I observe water at the bottom and by hand feel a heavy damage under the right side of the fridge. This is not visible at a glimpse watching, only clearly visible by lay down the floor and watch by mobile light. Then directly intimate the whirlpool service assistant, he visit the fridge on 17.07.2023 and just wipe the water with cloth condensed under the vegetable tray, the check the rubber beedings by stretching it. Then he just says it is ok, and any problem with water leakage is intimate to us. I intimate the damage of the fridge to whirlpool assistant, this damage is not under the warranty, it is to be intimated to flipkart and its seller who transported and delivered.
After one day I observe the leakage of water again, as previous issue. Thus I again registered complaint to whirlpool. Then I chat with Flipkarts customer care Assistant continuously, every time the customer service assistant ignore my issues and direct to ask for a call from flipkart support executive. Once the support executive call me I sell my issues facing with the product you delivered. They always says I understand your product problem, we are sorry for the trouble caused, then no remedy or solving of my issue, they continuously post issue slolve in flipkarts platform, then say that your product is not replaceable or returnable. Every day I chat with your customer support executive, then I only receive computer generated replies. Then I directly call the customer support by taking number from google dt 28.07.2023 after 2 PM, one lady Ayisha attended in Malayalam Language and I tell the issues I facing by purchasing a fridge through your platform. After continuous speaking with my issues with her non co-operative answers, she transfer the phone to another customer executive lady who speak in Malayalam. Then again She repeated the same as the return of product period is seven days over then adviced me “Any damage to your product you make service by paid service”. This type of reply from your customer support executive was very aggressive and I feel flipkart and its seller purposely cheated me.
Refrigerator is a gas filled product which is handled only in standing direction, no one view the platform by laying flat, the damage occurred in right side of platform, that make a change in the body's precision to close the vegitable tray without air leakage, thus the leakage continues, my floor becomes wet, and my electricity bill rises, this is fact and issue.
Thus I humbly request Flipkart, and Flipkarts seller and Whirlpool has directly visit my refrigerator located in my Home, from where and by whom the damage has occurred. When I see the damage I thoroughly check the canvas layed down the fridge packing it was totally damaged the right side having crushed holes. Thus I am sure that the damage was happened due to harsh transportation, without care. Thus for this flipkart was responsible, I am a customer, I paid the money to flipkart, I don’t care about flipkarts 7 days return policy, since all three, flipkart, seller, and whirlpool liable and responsible to deliver and install me the product to the customer without damage. They totally failed to do it. Then the damage view by the customer after some issues happened to the refrigerator I intimate the flipkart, without any delay, why flipkart reject it, that question raised before flipkart, since the delivery and installation done through flipkart and its representatives. I am sure that I dont make any mistake. The transporting damage when I observed it was intimated properly without delay. I don’t want to hold a damaged fridge by giving my hard earned money with drawbacks I highlighted. Thus flipkart has the responsibility to replace the refrigerator at an early date otherwise. The Flipkarts customer service executives are totally wasting time by giving unworthy messages and chat replies. The Purchase bill copy attached as pdf for your valuable observation.
