[Resolved]  Flipkart — delayed delivery and non commitment of delivery date

I booked a woodness steel book shelf by paying Rs.14000 on 31 aug '17. The product was scheduled for shipping on 7th september and delivery on 14th september. But it was not even shipped by 14 september. Wen i called customer care, i was told that the item has been shipped and the tracking system was dysfunctional coz of which it was not showing shipping date. On 15th the tracking system showed that the item was shipped on 15th at 2 pm. I monitored the tracking and found that the item did not move from the chennai hub by the 8 pm of 16th september. I again called on 16 and I was told that their back end of will call by 21 sept to inform me when the item will be delivered. Apparently the delivery cannot be expected even 7 days after the original delivery date. Since flipkary was non committal towards the delivery, i asked to cancel the order. I was told order cannot be cancelled since the item has been shipped. It seems that flipkart in collusion with the seller showed shipping of the order wen i complaines so that I could not cancel the order. However, if the item been actually shipped, it the tracking system would have showed the moment of the item and the deliver date. Please get the item delivered and installed by 5 days from today or get my rs.14500 refunded.
