Really had a horrible purchasing experience from both Realme and Flipkart. I ordered the Realme Book Slim from Flipkart on 18th of Jan, and it was on my father company’s name as he was going to use it. It took around 4 days to deliver it to the factory @Flipkart @realmeIndia 1/10
and from there it took 5 days to our home on 27th of Jan. When I opened the product within 30 min of interaction with the device, I found out that the trackpad was not working. So, I thought it was a driver issue, so I installed latest driver (2/10)
and it was not working. Then I immediately put and return request but the flipkart app show not possible only 7 days service centre replacement. I didn’t think much and went to service centre and allowed them to check the device so that then can figure out the problem. (3/10)
Within few hours they said that this is hardware defect. Then, I tried calling flipkart and explaining the situation to them but here is the problem, I had to call them at least 10 executives to finally make them understand situation because many of them, listened to problem 4/10
and just cut phone halfway through or put me on hold for 15 mins. Flipkart and the realme service centre number told me to get a DOA (Dead on arrival) certificate to approve the return/ replacement request which took around 7 days itself from the realme side. 5/10
I got the certificate on 2 or 3 Feb. After that waiting I called flipkart, same story had to call about 10-15 executives to tell them I have proof and I want return. It was approved on 6th of Feb. But here is the twist they said that replacement would be done by 7th Feb, 6/10
but nobody came to deliver and we know that in Maharashtra there was a holiday due to late Lata Mangeshkar’s Death (my condolences). But then they said they will deliver on 9th and same story didn’t deliver. I had to call them again, like what was going on, 7/10
they issue a complaint internally but today they said they that the delivery team didn’t get the replacement update, so we must raise the replacement again. But now, it showed it would be replaced on 25th of Feb. What? I know this is a policy for customers 8/10
returning multiple products which get this delay why do I have to face this burden; waste my time and money for their issue. This people consider us as joke and try to delay as much as possible. After the date of 25th I said to cancel and give refund they said 9/10
it can’t be processed right away, and you have cancelled to replacement request. Wtf? Now I’m stuck with a defective a product and don’t know what to do? Is this How this company behave when they have defective product? 10/10
Flipkart is not still delivering the replacement and are delaying the process. It was supposed to be delivered on 7th feb but then delayed to 9th Feb again, then delayed to 13th and again delayed to 15 th feb.
Again they didn't deliver the replacement. This is how you run your companies. They have delayed the replacement 5 times now.
