[Resolved]  Flipkart — Delivered Wrong Product and Refused to take it back

I ordered for a MOCHI Blue Women Messenger Bag on 4th Feb 2023. I received the parcel by Metro Brands on 13th Feb 2023. But what was shipped was a cheap quality Sling bag by Metro. When a return was initiated for the first time saying wrong product, the return request was refused. On the second attempt, despite mentioning wrong product delivered, the pickup person came looking for a defective product delivered. He asked to initiate a return again. Repeated return attempts were initiated, and every time, I the return was cancelled saying:
"Sorry, your return request for ... cannot be fulfilled by the seller as the courier service provider has confirmed the delivery of the order with the product being intact."

Flipkart and Metro failed to acknowledge that the request was to take back a wrong product delivered, and not about a defective product.

Flipkart customer support was contacted several times over chat, and call. Each of the customer support executives acknowledged that it was an issue on Flipkart's side to have delivered a wrong product, wrong brand, wrong color... overall wrong product and that the return and refund would be initiated. This was even escalated to their next level of seniors.

After which Flipkart sent emails asking for photo evidence. Despite sending photos, they said it is not enough proof and repeatedly kept asking for photo proof. After sending 3 rounds of photos on alternate days, finally Flipkart has gone silent. They neither respond on chat or email.

Attaching the photo of the Mochi Blue purse that was ordered and the Metro Pink Slingbag that was delivered.
