Flipkart — Delivery agent couldn't deliver laptop as the exchange laptop condition check software fails due to faulty flipkart software | |
Hi, I am writing here because Flipkart customer care is not at all responding. I have ordered a Asus laptop in exchange with my older Asus laptop. While ordering, I provided all correct information of my older laptop and based on that exchange amount was calculated to Rs.9150. When the delivery man arrived, he fed all information by looking at laptop in his some mobile software but one of the check for Processor generation failed even after providing correct generation and rest all other checks passed. The delivery man tried with all other options available for this generation field but none of those options got passed. This is so surprising how can it be failed and as per my understanding this is an issue with their software as all other options couldn't fix this problem. I tried reaching out Flipkart customer care immediately in-front of delivery man and I received a call from customer care within 5min. When I explained him this problem, he put my call on hold and later he said there is no exchange order being shown at his end for this new laptop purchase. THIS REALLY SURPRISED ME!!!. How can this be true if we both are accessing same order, then how can he see something which is not correct. He again put my call on hold and after waiting for 10min call got disconnected. Now after that, I am unable to get any response from customer care after so many attempts. The delivery person has left ensuring that he will try to attempt it next day (i.e. 13th Aug 2021) but till now he hasn't. My painpoint here is - 1. How can your software check fails if my provided information about processor generation which is 3xxxxx matches ? If it is really, then it is totally fault at Flipkart end who owns this software to validate the check and no one else. 2. How can customer care say that my order is not showing any exchange request with it when we both are accessing the same order ? I can tell with 100% confidence that customer executive is telling lie and now no one is responding to it even after some many attempts. I think it was my biggest mistake to order this from Flipkart who has no customer support team and whatever they have is of no use as they starts telling lie to the customer which can be easily proven wrong. I request this consumer forum team to please assist me on this to get this issue resolved asap as it has already taken so many of my hours to reach out to this useless Flipkart service team.
