[Resolved] Flipkart — Dining set | |
Order placed on June 19th. The seller location is in Rajasthan and we are in Chennai. It was supposed to be received on July 2nd. After 4th postponement of delivery date because of "logistics" issue from their delivery partner, finally received on 15th of July. When unboxing itself we noticed that there were damages in the corner of the table and the other corner leg was protruding outside of frame. Both dining table and the bench had issue with frame due to some impact either before packaging or during transportation. Within 2 hours of delivery we raised complaint. Two options that were given by customer support was refund and replacement. The option chosen was refund because the product initially took almost a month to deliver. A technician was supposed to have visited us on 17th later changed to 19th of July to check if the product was really damaged. But no one turned up and the requests were suddenly closed. Upon further follow-up a new request is made for a future date of 22nd, further changed to 23rd. So now it's become difficult for us to think back and choose replacement option also because we don't know if the technician will come to confirm the damage. We regret buying the product with no refund option and even if flipkart provides the option the seller can cancel it. Either the seller must take responsibility for the damages or flipkart should compensate. Neither of them are showing any affirmative support till this point.
