Today 20th October 2020 while my brother and I were eagerly waiting for our product, OPPO Reno2 F (Sky White, 256 GB) (6 GB RAM), it was our first time to buy a smartphone on an exchange of an old phone. The old phone was to be exchanged for an amount of Rs. 2300. Two boys came for the delivery, first they asked for the old phone, checked all parameters, the phone had only some scratches on the temporary peel off screen so they told us that the exchange amount would reduce and so we were to pay some extra amount. They told as per the flipkart policy, the amount to be paid is 1150 which was truly shocking. They reduced the price from 2300 to 1150 just on the basis of some minute scratch. They were not at all ready to go with the original amount even though we clarified that it was just on the temporary screen card. Anyways we paid the extra amount. Later (after 3-4 hrs) when we checked the status of the order to complain, it was set as "delivered' and the "exchanged phone" as cancelled and it is written that "Item is cancelled.₹2200.0 paid by Cash On Delivery". We gave away the old phone and also some extra cash and it's written that the item was cancelled. This is to bring to the notice that those delivery boys took the extra money and phone with them and wrongly mentioned the status of the item. This is such a disturbing behavior coming from such reputed online shopping website. Not at all satisfied with the service. I expect to get my extra money back because neither there was any damage on the phone nor any scratches on the main body which clearly doesn't violates any "exchange policy". Hence i request the Flipkart Customer Care to kindly look into this matter and respond asap. If such behavior is there then i doubt i would not to be able to trust this website in future.
