I ordered an Apple Airpods Pro with Wireless Charging Case from Flipkart during the Big Billion Days Sale at ₹17999.
My order ID is OD[protected]. The delivery agent was Ekart.
The product was FLIPKART ASSURED, the seller was TrueComRetail, and I am a FLIPKART PLUS member. Surprisingly, the invoice I received from Flipkart was by a seller named 'Sane Retail Private Limited'.
I was out of my home, and my order was received by my small cousin. This can be verified by the delivery person. She received the package, made the payment, and kept the package inside the house as received. I came back home after a couple of hours and started unboxing the product. To my horror, I received an empty but carefully tampered, and half sealed box. I immediately lodged a complaint and requested for a refund from the order tracking screen. I have called the customer support once to notify the issue and also got in touch with the courier service branch.(I have call recordings of these conversations, will share if requested).The courier service confirmed to me on call and I quote, 'We forward the packages as we receive them, we do not double check the seal of the packages and there is absolutely no tampering from our side'. I recieved the last 'Product Delivered' text from EKart at night 8:25 pm while the product was actually delivered at 12:25pm(and updated on flipkart app as 'delivered' as well). The product was unboxed around 5 pm. I have placed a refund request, and this is my concern in writing. The reason I'm filing a consumer complaint, is that I've seen similar cases happen before with others and no solution was given to them. My return window will elapse in another 3 days and I will not fall prey to that.
MY CONCERN IS GENUINE AND I'M WILLING TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY MEASURES.
Please look into the matter URGENTLY and help me with the resolution.
