I had bought a Samsung 43 Inch LED TV and opted for exchange with working Samsung 34 Inch LCD, which was promoted to be atleast ₹1635/- for a working model. The Flipkart bill also included the max exchange value, around 3800/- as discount against exchange value of old TV. However at the time of delivery the offered amount was only 550/- and I had to Pay 3331/- additional to get the TV in exchange of my old TV. The parameters of exchange they later showed that even when there is No audio or No video the exchange price offered would be 1635/- (snapshot of exchange parameters of my order details on Flipkart site is att for reference). However the representative selected only 550/- in exchange, saying there were colour issues in the old TV while agreeing there was nothing else wrong with the TV. When even old TV with no Video was promoted to be exchanged for 1635/- how come a TV with no video problem or sound issues with only colour issues being rejected. Spoke to the senior representative of Local Flipkart office who told to complaint directly to Flipkart Customer Care. I tried to get in touch with them but there is no direct calling No (only automated response system which did not have option of my query). Since then I have been trying to send texts through whatever medium available to register complaint. Since could not get in touch with anybody had to pay 3331/- extra (a penalty on me...for shopping on Flipkart expecting a good experience, but had the worst experience possible). I might have got a better deal with local electronic repair shop.
I sent emails and finally they replied that they are looking into the case. But next day declared the case closed unilaterally from their side, terming it as settled.
Please look into the matter and offer me the difference of 1000/- or something, as legitimate refund (of overcharging).
