[Resolved]  Flipkart — False promises and failure in refunding

Sir/Madam,

I have been Flipkart's customer since a long time and was satisfied with your customer service. Recently, I ordered an IPhone XR during the sale but the order was delayed for more than week and then was suddenly cancelled.

I received an email from customer service that the order was cancelled. I got a call from your customer service and they promised me a flipkart voucher of Rs 2000 and also told me to reorder the IPhone XR (which had increased in price) and another voucher for the price difference after placing the new order.

Before placing the new order I contacted the customer care and told him that the white color Iphone wasn't available and asked him whether I would recieve the voucher if I place an order of different color but same iphone, for which he put my call on hold and atlast told me to go ahead and place the order and will recieve the order after the return period is over. I order the phone as a gift for my mother. All thanks to your delivery that surprise was ruined. Then after being repeatedly assured by your customer care I proceeded to buy a new one but at a higher price and a different colorful, same model Iphone for which I had to wait for another 7 days to get it delivered. I had no intention of ordering from you again but did so due to your promise of flipkart vouchers. The person asked me to wait till the return period is over to recieve the voucher . After waiting till the return period is over I called the customer care on 21st August, she wasted another 15min of my time on hold and at last she told me as I ordered a different color I would not be receiving the voucher. have recordings of both the calls with your customer care.

Please rectify your mistake and do the needful to follow through on your earlier promise.
