Flipkart — Faulty asus zenfone 2 laser 5.5 | |||||
I purchased a Asus Zenphone 2 Laser 5.5 handset through online portal Flipkart on 3rd June 2016, i received the handset on 4th june 2016. The handset worked fine for 2 days from the 3rd day it started having problems where the touch screen would not respond sometimes and when i am charging the phone there would be message been displayed on the screen as "No photos selected". I upgraded the phone to Android 6.1 Marshmellow hoping that the issue would resolve but it has still not resolved. I contacted Asus customer case, hoping that the issue could be resolved by there technical team, but even after doing multiple checks, like going on Safe mode, doing a Factory reset the issue would still not resolve, i was asked to get the phone taken to an authorized service center. Post this i raised a return request on the Flipkart website, to which they responded back stating that a technical support guy would call back and do some remote check on my phone, and i was asked to download an app for it, which i did, but even when the technical guy had called the phone again had the same issue of the touch screen not responding, for which i was told that a technical support guy would do a personal visit and check the phone. When the technical guy came on 16th June 2016, he rebooted my phone twice and stated that the phone has no issue and stated that if the issue persists i can once again call flipkart and lodge a complaint. Even post the visit the issue with my phone still persists, for justifying my phone issue i have done a video recording on when the fault occurs, when i again lodged a complaint on Flipkart, asking for getting my money refunded, i received a call from technical support team and they are asking me to get my phone taken to a authorized service center, i informed them that i have suffcient evidence to justify that the phone is giving me a lot of issues, but they were just insisting me to get the phone checked at the authorized service center and only after that can they do anything. Requesting you to help in getting this faulty phone taken back by Flipkart and my money refunded. My experince with Flipkart has been good in the past but currently i am totally dissatisfied.
