I have always been unhappy with Flipkart product quality. One of the reasons I think is because they suck up to their sellers. How do I know this? I have had 3 bad experiences with them, 2 of which are ongoing.
1)Flipkart did not deliver an order for months last year although product was still selling on the website just because price increased after we ordered/paid and whenever contacted they said it has to come from Punjab and so takes long time. Finally they said that they cannot deliver and I should cancel the order and they will return my money+Rs.100 which I declined. We could still see the product being sold for a slightly higher price on Flipkart. So after multiple contacts they cancelled the order and gave me just the refund.
2)We ordered around 60 items in Feb this year and returned around 20 items obviously due to poor quality. All were refunded except one item. Now the issue is that from the 20 items, 3 items were costing Rs. 499 but we have got only 2 refunds of Rs.499 and Flipkart cannot understand who has not refunded the money even after sharing complete account balance with them and so is not refunding it to us. I have asked for escalation on 21st of August 2022 but expectedly no one has replied to my email.
3)My wife ordered some kurta costing Rs.1345 which they say has been refunded on 22nd Aug but is still not in the bank. So we contacted support abut this and got called today 24th Aug and the girl said she will check something and kept me on mute for 15mins with complete silence expecting me to hang up and then hungup the call.
This is the tip of the iceberg for us. We deal with many other websites and seldom have to return goods and even when that happens are promptly refunded. Nothing more to say here except I wish I was allowed to give a zero star score. ([protected]@gmail.com) Was this information helpful? |
