[Resolved] Flipkart — flipkart and hdfc interest deducted even after canceling the order, i bought using 0% emi option | |
Hello, I bough a phone from flipkart using 0% emi and had to cancel the order as they could not deliver the product on time. The bill of my credit card got generated before they processed the refund, and bank changed interest. Now both hdfc and flipkart are denying refunding the interest they charged. Hdfc is saying that they have given emi amount to flipkart, but flipkart is saying they did not received any amount of emi portion. At least one of them are definitely lying. Jan 4, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved gave in writing that they did not receive the EMI amount, HDFC took action later on and refunded the amount as they were caught red handed. Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. Verified Support Dec 16, 2017 Flipkart Customer Care's response We will revert on it.
Verified Support Dec 18, 2017 Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer raised a complaint because bank charge the extra interest. We interacted with the customer and informed him that the payment which was done from his end we've refunded that amount for any further interest charges kindly get in touch with the card issuing bank. Closing the complaint from our end.

As Flipkart has given in writing that they did not receive the EMI part, it is clear that HDFC is lying about the same as they are supposed to refund the amount but they are playing game.
