[Resolved]  Flipkart — Flipkart charged Rs.700+ delivery charges for a single grocery order

To avoid going outside in this Corona Virus pandemic situation, wanted to place an order online and decided to use Flipkart service. I searched all the items i wanted one by one and added them into the kart and placed a single order with Order ID OD[protected]. But looks like Flipkart is using this as an opportunity to make money in wrong terms by charging very high delivery charges.

When i finished adding all the items in the Kart and it showed me the total amount for all the items selected is Rs. 2877 and i placed cash on delivery Order successfully. But later i see Flipkart started delivering each item individually and added additional delivery charged for each item delivered ranging from Rs.80 to Rs.400. As it is individual deliveries and not knowing the list if items inside it and i ended up paying the amount upon delivery and never noticed i am ending up paying high delivery charges for each single items getting delivered.

When i realized about this is i got one more package for delivery for which as usual i paid, and when i opened later to see the items inside is only Chakki Fresh Atta and i knew the exact amount of it and realized why they took Rs. 400 more for this delivery which is delivery charge (very shocking). Only then when i calculated and realized each item delivered they have charged Min Rs 80 to Rs. 400 for a single delivery.

As per Flipkart and many other online shopping companies, if we order anything more than Rs. 500 then delivery would be free. But here they cheating by diving the delivery into each single item.

I raised the complaint with Flipkart on this and then i got the callback on the same. I explained the problem upon request from the executive and told we will start the return process and requested to send my bank account details on the email they sent. Then later again after sending the required details as i saw no response for few days, i replied to the same email for follow-up. Then again a separate executive calls and tells they cannot take return and cannot help on this matter. Upon insisting he told they will raise this issue with higher management and come back. Then again no get back, again follow-up then explain whole story to the executive calls and he agrees for return and then another executive who again says no return on this. This goes on and very frustrating and each executive conflict with each other.

Writing this for help from consumer complaint form, seeking help on this very high charges. Why do i pay Rs.80 delivery charge for the item cost 150? why do i pay delivery charge of Rs 400 for the item 730? This is too much and nobody would place order knowing these facts.

I appreciate your help on this matter. And also i have attached one of the email screenshot where they have agreed for the return as they don't have option of refund for the high delivery charges.

Is there any update on this? It's been 2 weeks since i raised the complaint here. And i had more than 2 to 3 week's follow-up with Flipkart support team where one used to help resolve then the another used to call and start over from scratch and taking additional time. Same process kept going for more than 2 to 3 weeks.
Is there any update on this. more than 1 month but no update. Now Flipkart does not care about the even to respond to the consumer complaints?
