Flipkart — flipkart - non-delivery of tv and false service commitments

This complaint is with reference to order number: od[protected].
My relative had placed order of lg ledtv (32 inch) on behalf of me on flipkart on 6th aug, 2020 by paying amount of inr 12, 746/- via credit card. Expected date of tv delivery was 18th aug, 2020 and delivery address was in beed district in maharashtra. On 16th aug we had got update from gati courier that "product undelivered due to mismatch in address & pincode". My delivery address is of small town in beed and it is correctly added on flipkart portal but gati attempted deliver somewhere in aurangabad in maharashtra which was visible under flipkart order tracking. There was no phone call/sms received either to my relative or me from gati courier before they tried to deliver tv.in fact they did not try to deliver tv to my address in beed.

My relative had called up flipkart customer care on 16th aug to inform about non-delivery of tv and lodged complaint with flipkart. The team had assured him that tv would be delivered to my address in beed district but it did not happen at all. As per the product tracking status shown on gati website, they tried to deliver tv again on 18th and 21st aug in aurangabad itself which was wrong address. Again there was no phone call receieved to us from gati on all 3 occassions. On website of gati courier they updated status as
"undelivered due to customer/consignee refusing to accept delivery"
Which is totally false and rubbish. Again there was no delivery attempted by gati courier to my delivery address in beed. We had informed flipkart about this issue muliples times from 16th aug till 24th aug. Flipkart had promised that my complaint will be resolved by 9 pm on 24th aug but there was no reponse recieved from flipkart.

We had called flipkart again on morning of 25th aug and flipkart team told us to wait till same day evening. Suddenly after few hours we got update from flipkart that "you have cancel the order for tv".in fact we did not cancel tv order. We again called up flipkart team and raised complaint about issue. Also requested to setup call with their reporting manger to resolve isuse. But the lady customer represenatative told us that we would get call from senior representative but after 30-40 minutes we noticed that complaint was closed by her without
Providing any solution. After couple of days we again follow up with flipkart and
Requested to deliver tv instead of sending refund amount but they refused to do so and on 2nd sept flipkart sent me refund amount without paying credit card charges.

During this period my relative and myself have wasted lot of time, efforts and money in doing multiple follow ups. Flipkart and all its partner gati dkt, bathla teletech pvt ltd and ramthralla retail did not fulfill my order. They all have cheated us and wasted our time. I strongly feel that flipkart and all its above mentioned business partners are following unprofessional and unethical practices. It was totally unexpected that reputed e-commerce company like flipkart provides such bad services to its long time customer. I will never ever buy any product from flipkart and have already informed my family, friends and community about this incidence so that they are aware of such type of bad services provided by flipkart. I want compenasation from flipkart for wasting my valuable time and efforts. They should also take appropriate action against people from their own team as well as their partner's team who are responsible for non-delivery of television so that no other customer will face such problems in future.

Hi, We are sorry to let you know that your order for the product 'LG All-in-One 80cm (32 inch) HD Ready LED Smart TV' has been canceled due to unforeseen reasons. We request you to place a fresh order. However, the seller has completed the refund on 31 Aug 20 and it should be reflecting in your credit card by now. Please check the previous statement/unbilled transaction of your credit card before reaching out to the bank. You may contact your bank’s customer care using the number mentioned on the back of your card in case you need further assistance. If they are unable to help, you may raise a dispute with the bank's grievance cell. Your kind understanding is appreciated.

Hello,

Your "SORRY" won't return my Efforts, Time and Money spent during last 1 Month. It seems you did not read complete post. My complaint is regarding Unprofessional, Unethical, Untimely and False committment provided by Flipkart and all its partners whose names are mentioned in my Post. Once again you people have marked complaint as resolved without understanding the customer's issue. So if you really care for your customers then try to undertstand their concerns and then mark issue as resolved.

Secondly check your database correctly, Refund was credited to my account on 2nd Sept and not on 31st Aug. My money of INR 12, 746/- was custody of Flipkart and its Partners for 28 Days and I want compensation for using my money. Dont give suggestion on things which were not asked like check credit card statement, contact bank etc. It not at all relavant to complaint raised by me. And If Flipkart is not willing to give me compensation then I will proceed with filing case in Consumer Court. Hope you understand it.
