[Resolved] Flipkart — Flipkart not replacing defective mobile phone | |||||
Recently i purchased a moto g 5 plus from flipkart.com. My order id is od[protected]. I ordered it on 31 may 2017 and received it on 6 june 2017. Right from the first day i noticed that there is a major issue with the screen display. Inside the lcd screen there appears to be a "hole". It can be clearly seen with the brightness full. So on 7 june 2017 at 12.28 am i filed for a replacement request. The customer care executive told me that a technician will visit my home and give approval for the replacement after verifying the device. So on 8 june 2017 the technician arrived. Now the technician was a very rude fellow, had absolutely no knowledge about mobile lcd's. After i showed him the problem on the screen (It is very much visible), he rudely told me that he will approve it because the problem is too small for flipkart's policy and his salary may get deducted. He also further told me to contact flipkart again and keep on pressurizing flipkart until they are forced to give me a replacement. He then took out the form, marked as "problem resolved but customer dissatisfied" and then he forced me to sign it. When i refused to sign the form, he started talking rudely again and kept on saying you have to sign this, i will not get salary and so on... So i hesitatingly signed it and thought about complaining to flipkart later. Now comes the interesting part. A guy from flipkart called me and told me that not to worry the issue will be taken care of. Right after the call within 30 minutes i saw on my flipkart account that my replacement request was canceled because the technician denied. I tried calling flipkart again but they would simply disconnect the calls. Please note that this product was "f-assured" and had 10 days replacement warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
