Flipkart — Flipkart not taking back faulty item

I ordered Lenovo laptop from Flipkart()and Petilante online was the seller on 22july22 and revised it on 26July22 night and I opened it on 27July22 and screen was not working and when it turned on it was flickering badly hence raised a return initially I asked for replacement but they said it’s not possible so only return option everyday Flipkart customer care called me and said they will do the pick up but no one turned up and on 2aug22 return period of the laptop was expired and still as my issue is open Flipkart gave me date that by 4aug22 my issue will be resolved but on 4aug22 I get a msg stating refund cancelled as return policy is finished case closed. Flipkart and seller was waiting for the policy to end so that I Should keep the faulty product with me. This is unacceptable.
