[Resolved]  Flipkart — flipkart - order cancelled by flipkart when product was in delivery stage

I ordered LG G7 ThinQ (Platinum, 64 GB) mobile with order number OD[protected], at flipkart.com as the site was showing the item in stock during Diwali Sale 2018. I made the payment of Rs. 26, 999 through credit card on November 5, 2018. I received a confirmatory e-mail and sms that order is approved and the product will be delivered by November 10, 2018. On November 6, 2018 at 12:17 pm, I received the mail and sms that item has been shipped.

But on November 6 2018 at 8:32 pm, I received a mail and sms that the refund amount for this order is transferred to your card and will be credited by Nov 07, 2018 as per the standard banking procedures. I was shocked to see this message and immediately called up flipkart customer care where I asked to stop the refund immediately and asked to deliver the product. Customer care representative assured me that my complaint would be escalated.

I checked my mailbox again and there I found this message:

""Greetings from flipkart.com!
You made an excellent choice by deciding to purchase one of the top selling products on flipkart. However due to high demand for this item and in order to provide all customers an equal opportunity to avail this great deal we had to cancel the following items in your order OD[protected]. Please note that we have cancelled following items""

I checked flipkart.com and found the product available for sale at higher price for Rs. 32, 990 and in stock. I never expected this from flipkart.

I received a mail from flipkart on Nov 6, 2018 at 10:02 pm.

"Dear Customer,

We have escalated your issue to the concerned team. We assure you that we will resolve your problem by 07 Nov, 9:00 PM.

Thanks,
Flipkart Customer Support"

I did not receive any reply.

I again called up flipkart on Nov 7, 2018 and I was told that shipment was cancelled by the seller. I was also told that the product had reached to Gurgaon from Mumbai. How can they cancel a product which was already in transit and was about to deliver?

On Nov 7, 2018 at 8: 38 pm, I sent a mail to customer care.

"I want the product at the same price at which I ordered earlier. Issue me a coupon so that I can order it again at Rs. 26, 999.

If this request is not fulfilled, I will never order any product from flipkart again."

On Nov 8, 2018 at 2:28 pm, I received a mail from customer care.

"Hello,

We're really sorry to let you know that your order has been cancelled due to an unforeseen error that has now been fixed. You may place a new order and the seller will ensure that it is delivered to you.

I want flipkart to deliver the product to me at same price at which I ordered during sale period. The order was cancelled by the seller and there was no fault of mine.

I ordered it at Rs. 26, 999. Now it is available at Rs. 32, 990.

I want the product at the same price at which I ordered earlier. Issue me a coupon so that I can order it again at Rs. 26, 999.

If this request is not fulfilled, I will not order any product from flipkart again.

I received the copy and paste message again from flipkart on Nov 11, 2018 at 12:47 pm.

My request to flipkart is to read my mails and this complaint properly. My complaint is not for the refund. My complaint is for the delivery of the product. I want to reorder the same product at same price at which I ordered. I received a call from flipkart's executive and he was asking about the status of refund.

Customer raised a complaint stating that the order delivery as same has been cancelled without customer consent. We have interacted with the customer and informed that the order was cancelled due to unforeseen reason and refund has been done. And taken feedback so we will try to provide better service in future.Hence, closing the complaint from our end.
