I purchased a Blue-Star window AC in April through Flipkart. I was delivered a defective A/C as follows - Blue Star 1.5 Ton 5 Star Window AC - White (5W18GBTLV, Copper Condenser) at my Vaishali Ghaziabad address. I stay in Mumbai and had ordered the AC for installation at my parents residence in Ghaziabad.
Blue-Star Installation engineer advised at the time of Installation on 6th May that A/C is not cooling and has some defect. Then Blue-Star collected the A/C on 8th May to take it to workshop for checking the issue and later reported that Condensor coil is leaking and they will take 1 week for repair. I insisted that I want a replacement as it is a brand new product which has been delivered in a defective condition. They asked me to contact Flipkart for replacement as AC was purchased from FlipKart. I informed
FlipKart all the details and asked for a replacement immediately. But now I see that Flipkart has logged the issue as - "I want to know the details of the authorised service centres for an item". This is false logging of the issue. The real issue is that a defective product was supplied, which should be replaced immediately. I also gave necessary proofs to Flipkart customer care regarding the incident. I request a prompt replacement of the A/C. I had come here to attend my parents who were COVID infected and infact lost my father on 9th May. I had requested immediate attention while complaining to Flipcart. I need to leave for Mumbai by 25th May along with my mother who is now recovering.

As I think nothing can be done in India wrt Customer complaints, I am now thinking of asking Blue Star to repair the product and swallow the whole issue with a pinch of salt. Since we are staying in India, I have to accept the sufferings which come along with it. As in India we get beaten by sheer numbers and volumes. COMPLAINT ON THIS SITE IS MY LAST HOPE AS I AM PLANNING TO NOW SEND THE AC FOR REPAIR. PLEASE DO SOMETHING IF YOU CAN. Was this information helpful? |
