[Resolved] Flipkart — Flipkart refuses to exchange microwave | |||
I got a microwave ( LG - 28 ltr) delivered on 14th Feb 2015 that was ordered by my sister ( in US) as a surprise gift. At the time receiving the product, I realized that it was not going to be a fit for my kitchen and I asked delivery person if I can return it. He said I need to contact customer care. I called up customer care, and told them that I needed a microwave of smaller capacity/size and the delivered one was of no use to me. they told me get the order details and they would do it. I got the details in the evening an called them, however, this time the representative said they can not exchange it as they do not such policy. I requested that I was ready to bear any courier changes for shipment and also told that I was not looking for any refund. However, they did not considered my request. This was very surprising to me that a customer calls up on the same day when he receives the product and was denied an exchange. I really do not understand such policy. IT was disappointing as they could have given me an exchange by creating exception. Was this information helpful? | |||

Your customer care executive contacted me (over the phone) and informed that Flipkart has policy of No Return/Exchange for any electronic products - due to size, color, or any other non-technical issues. You already have order details. I have been a customer!!
I put-up this issue mainly to make people aware of such weird policies.
