[Resolved]  Flipkart — flipkart & seller omnitechretail cheating customers in the form of exchange offer

Hello,

I have purchased 'iffalcon by tcl ai powered k31 138.78cm (55 inch) ultra hd (4k) led smart android tv with hdr 10 (55k31)' on september 28th in the big billion days sale with my old tv exchange value 5000 rupees. I have read all the terms and conditions for the exchange product while placing the order and my old tv perfectly meets all of the seller guide lines. I have attached the 'exchange' checks provided by the seller.

When the order came for delivery, wish master (Delivery person) came to the doorstep and verified the tv completely with input and without input and shared the all the of the images to some one in whats app. So he is not a techy guy and he needs someone's confirmation on this. At first they are okay to pick the old tv and deliver the new one. They packed the old tv also. But after some time he got an instruction to check the tv in 'tv'mode (Which not mentioned partculary in exchnage check). So wishmaster took a video which is a bit shaky in the video and normally happens when we take the video. He sent the video to the other guy in whatsapp who is confirming the old tv checks. By seeing this video the guy in whatsapp asked the wishmaster not to pick up the tv. From here the issue started.

The main check is tv should work with or without input and no dots, no lines on the screen and picture should not flick also. All these checks perfectly met with my old tv. But not sure still they denied to pick up the old tv. They have verified my old tv almost for half an hour. I am not sure what kind of exchange offer this is and what's the seller's plan with the old tv. Flipkart & seller omnitechretail are playing with the customers emotions.

The next when wishmaster denied to pick up my old tv, i have contacted flipkart customer service on the same time in front of the wish master. They have opened a complaint and confirmed my order will be delivered on r before oct 2nd.

Flipkart customer service is like flipkart only.in 2 hours they sent an email like seller denied to pickup the tv and they are going to cancel the order. They didn't even mention the old tv issue and i have requested actual technician come to the door step and recheck the tv. But flipkart didn't believe the customer like they used to do every time.

I had spoke with customer service many times and asked for what the issue in tv. They even don't know the issue and saying like technician found something issue in 'tv' mode. There will different kind of modes in tv like 'tv', 'av', 'hdmi' etc. We use only hdmi as we are using the d2h as the entertainment service provider. I am not sure what is issue that is not in 'hdmi' mode and found in 'tv' mode. But the picture and sound quality is perfect.

Important: this kind of mode check is not mentioned in the guidelines by the seller and still they are doing this. Also, flipkart supporting this to seller.

Finally flikart & seller won on this and they cancelled my order. They played with our emotions and our whole family waited for the tv and we lost joyness of the festive season.

Resolution:
1. As the flikart played with our emotions, i need a compensation of my order amount or delver the order to me.
2. A strict action need to be taken on the flipkart exchange policy and guide lines
3. A strict action needs to be taken on the seller 'omnitechretail'
