Respected Sir, I ordered a LG fridge from Flipkart on October 15, 2023, and it arrived on October 28, 2023 at 1 PM. The piece was found to be defective on four counts 1. compressor, deep freezer sipping, vegetable tray cover not locking, and vibration in the door Flipkart says you have to contact L.G. I paid Rs. 13390 online, getting a Rs. 1500 discount from Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Flipkart gave me a discount of Rs. 500. The total cost of the fridge as per the invoice is Rs. 15390/-. On contacting L.G. the next day of delivery, a technician came, inspected the fridge, and gave a job sheet stating the above faults. Which was forwarded to Flipkart several times and to L.G. customer care. The reply I received was that we cannot give you a refund, but we will repair the fridge for you. As per L.G., the return or refund policy is for 5 days, which I compiled by complaining within 2 days of delivery. Further, Flipkart's return and refund policy is 7 days. I complied by complaining within 2 days of delivery. Further, Flipkart says that after several calls, we will resolve it in a couple of days. Today, 10 days have passed, and I have been subjected to utter harassment by both Flipkart and LG Electronics. They have completely neglected the client. Sir, my question is: would the same person buy a LG fridge again with so many defects, in spite of the assurance, so I opted for a refund? Similarly, I paid amount to Flipkart; he is a responsible person to see that I got a good piece. Another thing: if I had to buy a fridge from LG, couldn't I go to the showroom nearby and buy it now that both are laughing and sitting straight with my money? Shouldn't I be entitled to a refund and charges be imposed on them for harassing and neglecting a client who is a senior citizen? Flipkart says go to LG, and LG says go to Flipkart. Sir, Flipkart hasn't sent a message saying he will resolve it, but orally he has said I have got the call recording with me. Further, all my mails to Flipkart were returned as there is no mail ID active; also, mail to CEO was returned. I got [protected]@flipkart.com and [protected]@flipkart.com from Google, but the IDs are inactive. Isn't it a fraud, whereas I emailed LG customer care, and their replies are with me?
