@flipkart has cheated me without initiating refund for the order that was not delivered to me. The ticket number: IN[protected].
I had placed a grocery order of 49 items on 2-Mar. The delivery was expected on 4-Mar first half.
Without my consent the delivery was moved to 2nd half of 5-Mar. On 5-Mar at 8pm, i called the wish master to check when he would deliver as it was already 8pm.
At that time the wish master stated that some of the order items were misplaced and the Wearhouse has asked him not delivery the items. In case the items were found, he would deliver the items the same day. He also confirmed that the delivery would be moved to next day as its 8pm already.
I was fine with the response and just kept waiting patiently. On 6-Mar around 6am, i got a message stating a refund of Rs 15 was initiated towards my order as the onions were not delivered.
Only then is when I checked the flipkart app and found that the status has been set to delivered.
I called the flipkart support immediately and they logged a ticket and moved it to backend team for investigation.
In a week, i got 2 calls from the backend team stating the logistics have confirmed that the items were delivered to my address and asked me to check with neighbors/security and so on.
I was all the way at home waiting for the delivery to happen and they asked me to check with neighbors and security. I did as per their instructions and also took extra steps to review the CCTV footage and the apartment logs which clearly proves that the delivery has not happened, as no one entered the apartment at that time to deliver the grocery with 49 items.
Please note its 49 items not just 1 or 2 to say that it could have been handed over to the security/neighbors. Its basic sense to call and confirm who it was delivered. Flipkart never contacted me for delivery instructions at all and claim that it was delivered.
Finally i wrote an email to [protected]@flipkart.com, [protected]@flipkart.com and that’s when i got a call from Priyanka flipkart on 12-Mar stating they would need 48 hrs to find a proper resolution.
I still waited patiently stating that i can supply CCTV footage, apartment logs and my call history, but they were not ready to take it.
Next I got a call from Urmila flipkart on 15-March stating they have not heard back from the logistics and would need another 48 hrs. I insisted for a refund but they didn’t bother.
As i didn’t not get any items from flipkart inspite of waiting from 2-Mar to 9-March, i had to order the same items from Blinkit which was a hassle free delivery within 11 min.
Its been 4 days now, no one from flipkart called me for a resolution. When I call the support, they ask me to wait for another 24 hrs which is also breached now.
We ask for a call back from manager, they promise call back but never call. I’m left with no resolution.
If it was a COD, I would have not been through this pain. Unfortunately I made the payment in advance and now flipkart is playing with me.
All I need the refund.
