[Resolved] Flipkart — Installation service of Air Conditioner | |||
FlipKart has the most pathetic and non-functional Customer Support and Services Departments. These departments are filled by sweet talking non functional people who knows how to say just one thing: "We are working on your issue and it will be resolved by tomorrow". This tomorrow just never comes. I had purchased an LG air conditioner from FlipKart on May 25, 2015 and wad delivered to me on June 2, 2015. I got messages from FlipKart Services on the same day, Tuesday, June 2 that Installation has been scheduled and will be done in 3 business days. I got a call from their service engineer on Friday, June 5 to inform me that they will come to my place on Saturday June 6 for the installation. Nobody turned up. All day long I tried calling the service engineer on the phone number from which I had received the call, but nobody picked up the phone. Now, on Monday, June 8, I received an email from FlipKart Customer Service that they have cancelled the Installation Service ticket as I have refused to pay additional work charges for the installation!!! Surprised by this mail, I called up FlipKart Customer Service to tell them the fact that their service engineer never showed up and what he has reported - or what you claim is a big fat lie. As usual, I got a very apologetic, sweet talking lady on the phone who promised me she is extremely sorry for this and she is raising a new service ticket. She promised that she is escalating the matter and my air conditioner will be installed on the next day. After a while, I got another email from them saying - "We have escalated your issue to the concerned team. We assure you that we will resolve your problem by 10 Jun, 6:30 PM". Since then, I have been trying to constantly call them and send emails to them. My emails remain unanswered and on phone, I always get an answer - "We are very sorry and the service will definitely be complete by 'TOMORROW'". Well, TOMORROW never comes The air conditioner is lying in my living room since 15 days now. If I open it myself or try to get it installed by someone else, who will take responsibility if something is wrong in the package I have received? What if the delivered air conditioner is faulty? FlipKart will simply raise their hands and say we are not responsible. My money and space is blocked since all these days and I could not use the air conditioner during the really hot days here in Ahmedabad when it is really required. Will FlipKart take any responsibility for this? I have fianlly written to them that I will now have to go to Consumer Court against them and if FlipKart does not set things right, I definitely will. Friends, please share this message as much as you can so that all FlipKart Customers knows what kind of an organization they are dealing with. Was this information helpful? | |||
