I had purchased the Samsung M36 5G mobile phone around Dussehra for my 74-year-old mother, as her existing phone was malfunctioning. The product was delivered on the evening of September 30th. However, by the evening of October 4th, the phone’s speaker had already started malfunctioning. I raised a return/replacement request on October 6th, expecting timely support and resolution. Unfortunately, since then, neither has the Flipkart technician taken the device to a service centre, nor has any proper resolution been provided. Flipkart has neither approved a replacement nor initiated a refund. In the meantime, my elderly mother has been struggling without a functional phone - something that is essential for daily communication and safety. The behavior of the technicians from Flipkart/Jeeves has been completely unprofessional and unacceptable. They frequently call me as late as 8:00–8:30 PM, only to make excuses for not visiting. Their lack of accountability and repeated delays have caused immense mental stress and wasted a significant amount of my time. As a consumer, I should not be expected to run around service centres for a phone that began failing within a few days of delivery. A speaker is a basic yet critical function in any phone, and this is clearly a defective unit. I am no longer simply asking for a refund - I believe Flipkart owes me far more than that for the mental harassment, inconvenience, and time lost dealing with this issue. I have repeatedly urged Flipkart to listen to the recorded calls and excuses made by the technician team, but there has been no action or concern shown.
I am now requesting immediate intervention and resolution. I expect:
1. A full refund for the phone, and
2. Additional compensation for the undue stress and wasted time caused by this prolonged issue.
Please treat this matter as urgent and respond at the earliest.
