3rd Apr - I purchased the product
6th Apr - The product was delivered
7th Apr - The product demo was completed
8th Apr - I first noticed burning smell and smoke coming out of the Microwave oven
10th Apr - I complained to Flipkart customer care. Although the delivery and demo was completed but the correct status was not reflecting on the Flipkart website. As a result, I couldn't "return" the product.
12th Apr - Flipkart was supposed to resolve the issue. As the issue was not resolved, I dropped another mail to Flipkart. Flipkart increased the resolution date from 12th to 15th Apr.
13th Apr - The delivery status in the website was corrected and I could initiate the return.
14th Apr - The technician visited my house to check whether the product was actually defective. The technician confirmed that the product is defective.
15th Apr - I got a call from Flipkart saying that the product will be picked up on the same day and refund will be completed after 7 days of product pick up.
20th Apr - The product has not been picked up yet. Calls to Flipkart customer care resulted in increasing the "resolution date" which is again changed with another date without solving the issue.
23rd Apr - The technician visited my house for the second time to check whether the product was actually defective. The technician confirmed that the product is defective. “Convection & Grill mode smoke is coming” was the update from the technician.
24th Apr - The resolution date has been again increased from 27th Apr to 4th May. Call to the customer care failed to provide a status update of the technician visit and hung up the phone.

Extremely disappointed with Flipkart!
