I am writing to express my deepest disappointment and frustration with the delayed delivery of my product. It has been weeks since I placed my order, yet I have not received any updates on when I can expect to receive my purchase.
Case 1:
I ordered a MOTO E13 a week ago; the expected delivery date was March 31, 2023. However, I thought I wouldn't be available on the 31st, so I rescheduled my product delivery date for April 1, 2023 (i.e., on Saturday). My estimate is that the order should be ready by Friday. Out on Saturday for the delivery status to be confirmed. But here, it did not happen. Saturday's total also showed the shipping status. I took my time and set my tasks aside, awaiting the product's delivery that day. I called customer care in the evening, and they said there was an issue with delivery logistics and told me to wait for the next day's delivery. How will you people tell customers to wait, as you have mentioned expected delivery? It isn't your responsibility to make sure that the products are delivered to customers on time. Is it the reason you give the customer to wait, and we will deliver it when we like to deliver it?"
Case 2:
On Sunday, i.e., on April 2, 2023, I ordered another mobile Infinix Smart 7. I got tricked again by the same-day delivery. It didn’t happen. I waited yesterday. You people gave the same reason yesterday: "technical issue, technical glitch". Is it the customer's problem or yours to be updated and followed up on? Flipkart is such a massive e-commerce platform, and you are giving these reasons?
To add insult to injury, the customer support team has been nothing but harsh and unhelpful. Every time I call to inquire about my order, I am met with condescending remarks and a complete lack of empathy for my situation. On top of it, I called a customer care executive at 7 p.m. regarding product status and wanted to know about the delivery issue. That executive kept on saying, "Technical issue; we can’t find details. Please call us after 2 hours." Seriously? On top of that, when I asked them why they will schedule a call when the systems are done, they replied with a harsh tone and hung up.
Is this how we treat our customers? Is it my fault or yours? What wrong did I ask? I asked for a proper explanation of why the logistics got delayed. I have to wait so long to know what went wrong with the logistics delivery.
I am cancelled my Infinix Smart 7 too. I'm hoping to avoid Flipkart as much as possible.i learned my lesson. Thank you for the eye-opening lesson you taught about how trust and confidence can be shattered in customers who believed in your service.
Such a lame, perplexed and preposterous act and service I ever came across from a well reputed e-Commerce.
