[Resolved]  Flipkart — no replacement done, no pickup done, no return done by flipkart

I have an issue about the below order

On the 14th of August, at first, I received a completely different shoe than the one I had ordered. Also, there was only a single shoe in the badly crushed box.

I requested for a replacement on the same day itself citing specifically that I had received a different shoe, and that too just a single shoe.

I was told that I would get the replacement done by the 21st of August.

But the date elapsed and so I checked the website on the 22nd of August, where I came to know that the seller himself had cancelled the replacement.

I had received no intimation of this cancellation by the seller via email or message.

So I made a return request on the 22nd of August again, and once again specifically mentioned that I had received a single shoe and that too, a different one.

I also called the customer care regarding the same. I was told that my order will now be converted from a replacement to a return and that the pickup will be done by the 23rd of Aug.

A pickup representative came for the pickup but he refused to take the item citing that it was a product mismatch and that there was only one shoe. This was despite me specifically mentioning the same twice, during my replacement request as well as my return request.

So I called up the Flipkart customer care executive again and told him what happened. He told me that he will communicate the same to a pickup representative and the pickup will be done by the 2100hrs of 23rd August.

But no one came for pickup.

Now today, I have suddenly received an outrageous message claiming that I have cancelled my return request and decided to keep the shoe.

That's an utter lie. When did I make such a request and why would I keep a single shoe which doesn't even match my order?

When I called the customer care again today, the IVR tells me that there is no return request on my phone number.

When I talked with the customer care executive, he told me that the time for return has elapsed.

What incompetence is this?

I have made the replacement within an hour of the item being delivered to me and the return request as soon as I came to know that the seller himself cancelled the replacement. All the delay has been on Flipkart's part along with the lack of co-ordination amongst their logistics support.

If my issue isn't resolved ASAP, I will be taking Flipkart to the consumer court where I will charge them the refund amount, the interest on that refund amount, my lawyers fees as well as compensation for all this trouble and mental harassment.

Flipkart has finally refunded me after 16 days of drama and loss of mental peace and personal time.Never doing business with Flipkart again.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
