[Resolved]  Flipkart — No return of broken samsung led product and giving false information

I had bought an Samsung LED in Rs 20, 283 from Flipkart which was delivered on 23rd with broken screen. The demo and installation person came after 4 days(promised time was 48 business hours, they don't count the day of delivery as 1st day). He found the product was packaged broken because there was no apparent damage on outer packaging. Since 26th we are calling flipkart to give update on when the return will be, and they said that someone will come till 28th..then 31st..till today also nobody has showed up. Then too this person will only inspect the product and won't take it back(then what the hell did the installation guy do?? He was from flipkart only). Again wait for 10 days(seeing the way they are delivering)..then return person will take it and after another 5 days the refund will be processed. That means for almost 1 month the money will stay with them and my Father is tense about whether they will give it back or not.


This is what this company is doing.. Everytime some other executive picks the call..we explain him the story.. he gives a false promise and doesn't send back a mail. This is Fraud and harassment of the customer in everyway. They want money first on delivery and refund amount they would take back the product and keep extending time.


Today(5th April, 2016) I called again and on asking several times they gave me the tracking id of return from safexpress tracking id 81478340. I called on there number [protected] and their executive said that this id doesn't exist. They have lied straight this time as well.


I need action on this from Consumer Court. Kindly send a notice to their office for giving me refund(INR 20, 283) on immediate basis(as there has been almost a month that they are giving false information on call and mails) and stop the fraud business.
