I bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator from Flipkart on May 10th 2022- in exchange of our old fridge. It was delivered on May 13th 2022. The Refrigerator does not work- it does not provide cooling. As per the delivery person, we were supposed to turn the refrigerator on after 4-5 hours because the cooling system takes time to settle down. We followed their instruction and turned it on after 6 hours but it did not start cooling. Even after overnight state of being plugged-in. Flipkart was supposed to send an Installation Technician on 15th May but no one has visited my house till now (time of report- May 20th 2022). We managed to get a Flipkart agent on call on May 14th who asked us to raise a replacement request. We did so. But they are now saying- until and unless a Flipkart technician visits and checks the fridge, a replacement won't be sent. All of these days, we are struggling without a Refrigerator in the high heat month of May (43 Degrees!). It has been 8 days since the delivery/replacement request but there is no action taken from Flipkart to help us get the product that we paid for. They are denying refund and return. We are seriously out of options as purchasing another fridge while our money being stuck with Flipkart is a luxury that I can never afford.
Another ridiculous thing is that the Delivery Executive falsely updated on the app that we denied to exchange our old product and instead paid the exchange amount in cash. If that were the case, I would still have my old working fridge and would not be in this much trouble and could manage my household. The Flipkart as a company has so many loopholes and the poorest customer service.
Please help us get our "new and working Refrigerator" by May 21st 2022.
