Flipkart — Not delivered the full product.

I have ordered a "Hikvision Digital Video Recorder 4 Channel Home Security Camera(4 TB)" with order id "OD[protected]" from flipkart and as mentioned in the specification I enquired about the 4TB hard disk will come with the product or not, over the phone on flipkart customer care and the executive from other side confirmed me that the product will come with 4TB hard disk, I asked him to provide the same in mail then he said you have to drop the mail for confirmation.

I wrote the mail to [protected]@flipkart.com and I got the confirmation mail from the team. Again for satisfaction I called to customer care and asked for the 4TB hard disk with product and again the executive from flipkart confirmed that the product will come with 4TB hard disk.

When I received and opened the product, I found that the 4TB hard disk was not there in the package. Imeidiately I called flipkart customer care and told about this to the executive from other side. He told me to write a mail regarding this, I have written the mail and the reply was shocking for me they said in product summary its mentioned that the product will not include the 4TB hard disk. Luckly I have taken the screenshot of the summary while ordering the product. both the summary were different and the summary they were reffering to was modified recently. Attaching the screenshots here as well.

I got couple of calls and they said that the confirmation from flipkart was by misktake and they will take care of it in future. I have provided all the possible proofs to the flipkart team.

I have requested them to fulfill the commitment they made not the refund.

Is this how Flipkart collect money for takeover ?

Tell me what I should do? Should I just take the refund and go away? Or isn’t it my duty as a consumer to make sure businesses are penalized when they do some thing like this and fight for that?

Attaching the screenshot of the mail from Flipkart where they confirmed that the product will come with 4TB hard disk.

I am trying to get the update from Flipkart but I am not getting any response.

I have called them on customer care no. Several times but no satisfactory response.

Please help me out here.
I got a call from Flipkart and they have refused to give 4TB hard disk.

Please suggest me what to do next.

Should I have to go to local consumer court and log a complaint and case of 420 ?
