I had placed an order on 24.09.17 for micromax 32 inch tv in which 3 offers were available: a promotional offer, an exchange offer, and sbi card instant discount offer. The first two offers were applied and i paid through sbi debit card for availing the sbi card offer of rs 1500 instant discount but the sbi card offer was not made available to me whereas i was meeting all the conditions given in the offer. I had even contacted customer care also before making payment and i was assured that the discount of 1500 will be made available to me after making the payment. However, the full amount was debited and the rs 1500 discount was not given. I requested flipkart through email to provide the discount/cash back to me as promised by the customer care executive on 24.09.17, while making payment to flipkart.
I have sent several emails and also contacted customer care but no relevant reply has been received. Only auto generated resposes are being recieved with no relevance to the complaint.
Are the offers advertised only for luring the prospective customers and not actually providing them to the customers? This clearly amounts to trade malpractices. I should be refunded rs 1500 against using the sbi debit card as it was advertised on the product.
